Does the drawstring close as tightly as an organza bag? Need to bag fruits on trees with this.

I'm not sure what fruits you are wanting to bag but the bag is only 4"x6". I used these for Tic Tac Toe games for my sons class as Valentine's gifts. They closed well for that but they are not meant for heavy weight

Can these be used containing your soap and as a scrubber/foamer for shower or bath?

I suppose they could be used that way, but they wouldn't work very well. They aren't nearly coarse enough. They are softer and more tightly woven. They're actually very nicely made bags.
