This texpeed Leather branded and advertised jacket is a dark horse in sheep clothing. it is more like a Textile based jacket with leather inserts. It is not 50/50 textile to leather it is more like 75/25 textile to leather, the inside is textile, the outside back and front are textile the shoulders and back of the arms are leather. It is a comfortable fit and snug, perfect for cold weather and autumn or spring. Summer it is to stuffy even with the inside lining removed and prone to sweat build up. The zips allow rain water to flow in when you are riding and to say it is shower proof is a bit much, more like hailstone proof. It is cheap and cheerful however if you are after a leather jacket for all seasons then keep looking.

I mainly use this jacket for special occasions and is a real head turner. It is waterproof but heavy rain is getting in if you like it or not. I think it is warm enough but in the heart of the winter it might not be warm enough for others. Overall it is a fantastic jacket very well designed and made.

So I brought this product mainly for the summer but as its spring. I thought it would be waterproof as advised but it's not down the main zip and the wrist zips you will get wet and your inside pockets are drenched. So when some thing says waterproof check reviews or with seller

I wanted a leather jacket with armour. I ride a road licenced disability scooter and find speeding cars and poorly maintained roads make for a risk of an accident..Many years ago I rode a large motorbike, this jacket is so much better than what was available 50 years ago. I am so pleased with this that I've ordered a second one size bigger for the winter.I ordered two sizes bigger to get the perfect fit. A good quality product.
