Affordable, Vibrant, and Gentle!
Adore hair dye is a total game-changer for anyone looking to experiment with color without breaking the bank. The shade range is incredible—whether you’re into bold brights, soft pastels, or natural tones, there’s something for everyone. I especially love how customizable it is; mixing shades or diluting with conditioner makes it easy to create your own signature look. The formula is gentle and free of harsh chemicals like ammonia, peroxide, and alcohol, which makes it perfect for sensitive or bleached hair. It goes on smoothly, smells pleasantly fruity, and lasts longer than expected for a semi-permanent dye—up to 4 weeks or 20 washes in my experience. Plus, the fade is gradual and pretty, not patchy or uneven.Just a heads-up: if you have very dark hair, you might need to pre-lighten to get the most vibrant results. And like with any dye, it’s smart to follow up with moisturizing treatments to keep your hair feeling soft. Overall, Adore is a fantastic option for creative color lovers who want quality without the salon price tag!

Such a rich shine! — 110 Darkest Brown
Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in 110 Darkest Brown and 10 Crystal Clear works beautifully on type 4 natural hair, giving it a rich, deep brown tone without the harshness of ammonia or peroxide. It leaves my hair feeling soft and adds noticeable shine, which is especially nice for my curls and coils. The 10 Crystal Clear is perfect as a gloss. It doesn’t change your color but enhances softness, shine, and makes my curls look healthier and more defined. The color payoff is vibrant yet natural-looking, and with proper moisturizing and sealing afterward, it fades evenly while keeping the hair healthy. Together, they’re a super gentle, vegan-friendly option that conditions while coloring, leaving hair vibrant and manageable without stripping moisture.

Vibrant colors and staying power!
Wow!! Vibrant colors that last! It’s been 4 weeks of washing my hair every other day with hot water and my hair still looks so vibrant and neon and I am still getting compliments every day. I will never use arctic fox or manic panic or strawberry leopard or any of the other brands I’ve tried over the years again. The purple faded a little faster than the other colors and the cool tones from the neon yellow faded to banana yellow in my fried ends, but my roots where my hair is healthier is still extremely vibrant for all the colors I used.As for use, this dye is a transparent gel I found pleasant to smell and easy to work with. It’s a hair on the drippier side but it blends easy and absorbs quickly into the hair. I think being transparent made it easier to see what color you’re making when mixing colors. You can hold it up to the light to see the color and you can see if any areas need to be mixed more.I usually leave conditioner colors like this on for 4+ hours but I was short on time and only did an hour and a half with this dye and it still did the job. It absolutely does stain skin pretty bad so be careful. I’m super happy with this and you can’t beat the price for this level of staying power! Repeat customer for life!

I'm impressed so far
I bought the clear because I wanted to bring some shine to my dull 4c natural hair. It was easy to use and it didn't have that awful smell of chemicals. I must say I can see a difference. Defiantly shinier and it looks more healthy. Now I will see how long it lasts. the bottle is small so if you hair is shoulder length this is only 1 application. But if it's short like mine you get two.

Adore Me Some Adore—Fantasy Hair on a Budget with Indigo Blue Magic
Let me tell you: I’ve been on a personal journey through the rainbow, and Adore has been my trusty sidekick the whole way. I’ve been buying their fantasy colors off Amazon for a couple years now because a) I only dye my money piece, and b) I like to switch it up more than a toddler in a Halloween costume aisle. My most recent adventure? Indigo Blue. This shade is chef’s kiss if you want that deep, ocean-at-midnight vibe. It starts out looking like you stole pigment from Poseidon’s favorite cloak. It is semi-permanent, though, so don’t expect it to cling to your hair like your cat clings to the warm laundry. I got a solid couple of weeks before it started fading into a soft pastel seafoam vibe—not bad, just a different kind of cute. The fade is gentle, not patchy or weird, and it never made me look like I lost a battle with a Smurf. Now, let’s talk consistency. This dye is not watery like those runny nightmares from some other brands. It stays put, which is great when you’re trying to paint your hair, not your bathroom walls. Plus, each bottle is 4oz and you get two—a total steal for under $10 depending on the shade. That’s salon color price on a ramen noodle budget. Here’s my own Adore color lineup:Rich Eggplant, African Violet, Violet Gem, Purple Rage – All queens in their own purple way. Long-lasting, vibrant, and fade like a dreamy pastel.Neon Pink – WARNING: It's so neon you might start glowing like a Vegas sign under a blacklight. Not actually glow-in-the-dark, but close enough.Jet Black – Ehh... the one I wouldn’t recommend. Fades fast and gives a weird greenish cast. Use a true permanent black if you’re going dark-dark.Back to Indigo Blue—while it did fade faster than the purples, I still loved it. The blue washed out beautifully and didn’t stain my bathroom like an abstract art project gone wrong. Oh, and it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and free of ammonia, peroxide, and alcohol, so my money piece stays shiny and happy instead of fried and crunchy. In short: If you’re fantasy-dye curious, broke-ish, non-committal with color, or just a long-time color addict like me—Adore is the move.
