I need to color code library books. Will it stick well to books?

Saw a few reviews mentioning poor quality, anyone have positive experience using this brand for kids' crafts projects?

My kids didn’t have a problem using this duct tape for putting card board boxes together. It was fun for them to have so many different colors to choose from!

Can kids tear it or do they have to use scissors?

The tape tears easily for an adult. I would say it depends on the small hand coordination and ability as to whether a child could tear it. Yes for a 10 yr old. No for a 1 year old. somewhere in between? I think a sensible 5 yr old could tear the tape. Getting it started is a little harder, but not for adult hands.

will it stick to fabric?

This is just like duct tape, it may stick but it won't stay
