I found these unstable and painful in downward facing dog and I’ve tried several adjustments. How is anyone having success with downward dog?

As I don’t know the physical challenges you may have, I will only speak for myself. I would do downward facing dog with the lower level of the wrist buddy and at that level, I don’t experience any instability and the wrist buddy is certainly more supportive than a regular block and less stressful than the floor. That said, I personally would not use the wrist buddy for downward facing dog simply because I can do this posture without them. This may simply come down to what works for one person does not work for another. I suspect that you have physical issues which just don’t make these blocks the right choice for you.

Is it formamide free?

After checking, I have found that formamide is not present in Wrist Buddy yoga blocks because they must have a higher density and hardness to support the user's full or partial body weight. Formamide is used in play mats and foam toys to make those items have a purposely low density with a softer, squishier feel.

LOVE these blocks

Really good quality firm density foam. Very stable to use. The hand mold should fit almost anyone. Eliminates the strain on my wrists. Where have these been all my life?!?! I don't ever want practice yoga again without these🧘‍♀️ Definitely worth the price!

I can do yoga again - amazing

These are amazing. I’ve not been able to do yoga for well over a year due to the arthritis in my hands and wrists. These are a game changer for me. The change in alignment of the wrists when using these blocks makes it possible for me to bear weight on my hands and hold poses. I’m so happy I bought these.

Really Helps!

I have arthritis throughout my hands and wrists which really hurts when I do yoga. I love yoga and will not stop it but do have to find other ways when I do certain poses that take my full weight on my hands. These are really helpful!!
