Very effective.Keeps the crap out of the exhaust air, leaving the room/shop smelling a lot better than the standard filters.Surprised by how easy it is to wash these down and re-use them.

I forgot to take a pic of the vacuum’s inside but it works for this model in the picture. I created a dust extractor but it can literally suck anything into the 5 gallon bucket. No dust goes into my vacuum but if it does, it’s protected by this green filter. I just remodeled a home and this sucked all the debris with full power.

In great shape and as expected

I was about to throw the shop vac out and buy another when I decided to call the company. The customer representative told. me the issue with my vac was it needed a new filter and suggested this one for pets. Works amazing and the issue was solved! Highly recommend trying a new filter before going the expense of buying a new shop vac!

I like the idea of the HEPA type filter. However, it doesn't exactly fit my shop vac. It's made too long by about 3/4", which causes the need to push down on the rubber on the top of the filter, to get the nut to screw on the center threads.Otherwise, works well.

This filter is THE way to go if you need to use your shop-vac inside the house and you do NOT want to blow a bunch of dust around. Unfortunately, allergies take their toll on my little girls and myself, so it is worth the extra coin to go with the 5 layer HEPA. (If nothing else, I *think* it's doing a better job of filtering, so I *feel* like a better parent for using it in the house from time to time.) I like the fact that it does not require the plate that comes with the shop-vac. I almost lost the original plate by accident when I disposed of my last filter... Luckily I remembered to remove it AFTER I dug my older filter out of my trash bin just to take one last look to see if the filter could simply be cleaned and reused... I decided to go ahead and toss it since it had gotten wet and pretty gunked-up. Now I just keep the original plate in the garage in case I need it in the future.

This filter makes using the shop vac with fine dust very easy, and it can be washed and re-used over and over again. We use our vacuum to clean out our chinchilla cage, which has a lot of bathing dust (very fine sand, similar to wallboard dust). Material like this would either go right through a normal filter or plug it up in minutes - but this filter works great. I’m sure it would work well with construction dust as well. Worth the added expense because it lasts so long.
