I had ordered 4 12 packs in case some showed up broken I would be able to exchange them, but they all showed up quick and not broken. They are very good quality for 8oz soy wax candles. I wish we could choose between the metal and the plastic lids as I don't need the plastic ones and I feel like it's very wasteful to send both, plus I now have 48 plastic tops taking up space. There are spots that can't be removed (tried basic removers without damage) from the lids. They look as though they may be from the feeder from the factory and it may be from oil or heat, but other than that, they function well and look great.If you're okay with the marks on the metal lids - theses are the best amber vessel choice for making candles I have found. $1.72 each after tax.

Love, love, these candle making jars. They are esetically appealing in all of our rooms. The size is perfect for our candles. We have not had any issues with scratches on the lids.

We have recently started making our own home remedy oils. These jars are the perfect size . Great quality, come with both metal and plastic lids … I prefer the metal for what we are using them fo , also do not care for the labels that came with the jars. But that’s an easy fix.Ordered yesterday they arrived today, so shipping was fast. Packaged well. I will definitely be ordering more.

These are hands-down THE best 8oz straight-sided amber glass jars with all black metal lids and an exceptional price point on Amazon. I've researched and tried several others and nothing compares. I have purchased these many times and have not had one issue, not one breakage, not one scratch. Unless there is a change in my branding, I will continue purchasing these for the foreseeable future.

Great Jars We use Them for candle making and they work great! The labels are nice but A little Big for the jars!

So far, I love these jars. They look very clean, have a premium presence with the metal lids. I wish there was an option for *either* metal *or* plastic lids, because I don't use the plastic ones and that's a huge waste. However, it seems like these are the only ones I can find that are fully black metal lids. Have yet to burn what I've poured, so I will update with more info after testing how they do once lit. I ordered 2" square labels for these, hopefully they are large enough.Update: I've tested 100% soy wax candles in these and they hold up just fine. The couple of reviews that had issues with breakage or "exploding" likely had other flammable objects in their candles or wicks that are too large. I don't see any reason for these to break under normal use.I also ordered a case of 24 after the first 12 did so well, and these ones do only come with metal lids. Win win! Arrived all intact, a couple of the lids came scuffed but not so bad that they’re unusableUpdate 2: the only downside is that the bottom of the jar isn’t completely flat, so you’ll end up with some wax that won’t burn, which is a bummer

I'm excited about these jars. I make my own paprika, which has two potential problems:1. It soaks up moisture and gets sticky2. The jalapeño paprika loses its green color and turns white, which is gross.So these jars come with two lids - plastic and metal. And the metal lid has a squishy plastic liner, which I'm really hoping will keep the moisture out. So far my paprika is still dusty instead of sticky, so thumbs up.And I'm hoping that the brown glass will keep the green paprikas from bleaching in the sun. I won't know on that for a year or so. But outside of my two little paprika Achilles heels, which may or may not be solved by these jars, they are well made, sturdy, and well worth the price!
