This works great For its application, however, you need to follow a few simple rules to get a leak free fit. RULES of the Uniseal I learned after pulling my hair out. Now I have calmed down, being bald now lets the heat out better.Rule #1: use the correct drill bit in the correct size bIt. I used a 1.25 flat bit and tore the hole. Use a hole bit.2: use lube!!!! This helps the pipe go in without damaging the robber.3: Clean the hole with sandpaper. Clean the PVC pipe with sandpaper and make sure to soften the outer edge of the pipe. I used schedule 40 pvc pipe. It must be beveled to fit thru the fitting. I used a belt sander and then used kitchen soap to force the pipe into the fitting.There is quite a bit of wiggle room with the pipe as you glue it in place. That was very helpful because it was difficult to determine the exact pipe angle. I used this under low pressure without leaks.I would buy this again.

Buy twice as many as you actually need. Out of the first set of two, I had one split in half... this was a few days after I had inserted the PVC pipe using lubrication. The other one was fine (same diameter pipe, same lubrication). Then I ordered a second set and both had manufacturing defects where they were injection molded. One was unusable, the other sealed ok, but looks a little weird.

Purchased to put a 3/4" PVC pipe through a black poly stock tank that I'm using as an aquaponic garden/koi pond filter. Followed the simple directions and it worked just great. very simple install and no leaks. Much cheaper than a regular bulkhead and I love that i'm able to easily adjust the height of the pvc pipe for find tuning of the water level in the grow bed.

Needed a rubber grommet for my sump pump lid, this was just what I needed. Would buy again.
