Great alternative to fruit by the foot. The package sizes are perfect for lunch boxes. The ingredients are a lot healthier than your average processed snack, but this is still not a health food. It is pricey, but I would rather pay more money for a higher quality snack that my kids enjoy. The packaging is durable, but easy to open.

Absolutely LOVE these. Probably my favorite snack ever. Had the texture of licorice with a nice fruit taste. And, as someone health conscious and also gluten free, it’s been a huge draw to have the fun gummy texture but no gluten and the candy-like experience, but no added sugar. But the biggest draw for me? This is just a really, really fun food. And I’m and adult. I can’t imagine how crazy the kids go for these. Each package has two “spools” of shoelace licorice in it, which makes it feel like you’re getting a substantial snack. And you can stretch the shoelaces out, play with them, tie knots with them. It’s very entertaining.(I’d actually love to see these guys to an influencer campaign where they get influencer to try to tie a knot in the string inside their mouth, sort of like you do with a cherry stem. I was able to accomplish this noble feat with this snack and felt very proud of myself.)10/10 would recommend

They fixed the plant-based non-stick coating, bitter is gone, I'm buying these again :D. If you want a sweet kid-friendly snack, I highly recommend all this goodness.(Explanation of why older reviews mention a bitter coating issue that is no longer present)Months after the product was launched, the company added a non-stick plant fiber solution to address concerns of how messy this was to eat for kids (IT WAS SO MESSY). Many people, including my roommate and the company's entire product testing team, could not taste the bitter compounds in the plant-fiber coating at all, zero. Unfortunately, people taste bitter compounds DRASTICALLY differently and unlike my roommate, that first coating was horribly bitter to me and many other regular customers who stopped buying the product.The company reached out to me immediately after I posted a 1 star review lamenting how sad I was that one of my favorite products was now ruined with their (version 1) coating. They said they'd send me a free sample after version 2 was ready, but it was going to take a few months. They had to find people who could actually taste the bitter compounds, to know what not to do. About a year later, I sent them my address and within a week a little package arrived with the new coating, the flavors I was familiar with, and two new (to me?) flavors.I gotta say, the new coating is good. Can I still detect -some- bitter? Sure, it's faint, but it goes away almost immediately. 4.5/5 in flavor now, but the coating makes it way less messy to eat. SO MUCH LESS MESSY. Also, the new green apple flavor, is amazing go buy it.

we bought these snacks randomly from Costco for our kids who loved them and it also turned out to be my favorite fruit snack. my most recent purchase, however, I opened the package to find a dust like material coating had been applied with verbiage on the back calling out that it prevents natural fruit stickiness. I never felt that the product was overly sticky. this dust changes the texture and taste of the product so much so that I haven't opened another since the first (normally the whole bag goes pretty quickly)disappointing that a very good product was changed and hope that they opt to go back to the original version in the future.month or so later...I decided to give them another chance. the texture has grown on me more. still can't give it 5 stars as I would have the previous version but felt I should update as I am enjoying them more than at first.

I tried these as a new snack for our gym office. They instantly became a FAVORITE! I tried one to see what all the hype was about and fell in love! The length of the whips are fun and satisfying. They are comparable in size to fruit leather. These whips are not sticky, so fun to eat (for kids, teens, AND adults). They are all natural AND super tasty! I want this company to keep the products coming!! These snacks are a win ALL AROUND!
