XMONDO Hair Wavetech Wave Foam: Unleashing Effortless Waves with a Few Caveats
The XMONDO Hair Wavetech Wave Foam has become a staple in my hair care routine, and for good reason. This vegan formula, enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5 and anti-frizz nutrients, promises to deliver natural waves while nourishing your hair – and for the most part, it delivers on its claims. Let's start with the positives. The lightweight foam is a dream to work with, effortlessly enhancing my hair's natural texture to achieve those desirable beachy waves. The vegan formula is a huge selling point for me, aligning with my preference for cruelty-free products that don't compromise on effectiveness. The addition of Pro-Vitamin B5 provides a noticeable boost to hydration, leaving my hair feeling healthier and more resilient. The anti-frizz properties combat my usual battle with humidity, ensuring my waves stay smooth and frizz-free throughout the day. However, it's crucial to use this product with caution. Applying too much in one spot can lead to a noticeable white residue, which, if not addressed, can detract from the otherwise fantastic results. Finding the right amount for your hair type and distributing it evenly is key to avoiding this issue. Another aspect worth mentioning is the initial scent of the foam. At first, it carries a fragrance reminiscent of an old lady's perfume. While the initial aroma might be off-putting, it does fade away after a short while. Surprisingly, as it settles into the hair, the scent transforms into a more professional and pleasant fragrance that lingers subtly. In conclusion, the XMONDO Hair Wavetech Wave Foam is a powerful tool for achieving beautiful, natural waves while maintaining the health of your hair. Despite the caveats of potential white residue and an initially questionable scent, the product's performance and benefits outweigh these minor drawbacks. With a bit of caution during application, you can enjoy professional-looking waves that stand the test of time.

BEST I’ve ever used.
Literally the best curly hair mousse I’ve ever used. Smells good. After you break the cast your hair is super soft and moves, but the curls are defined and stay in place. It’s amazing.

HOLY GRAIL!!!
xmondo wavetech is the ONLY PRODUCT that works for my thick frizzy poofy hair and actually gives it a wave/curl pattern, i’ve tried so many mousses and curl creams and they all weigh my hair down, give it a tacky gross feeling, don’t form an actual pattern etc. if i use this and diffuse i have no issues besides some flyaways/occasional minimal frizz at the top (usually because of the heat of the diffuser). this plus the wave foam and revival mist are my holy grail i don't think ill ever switch! the only other product i need next from this brand is something to tame those flyaways i sometimes get

Great, but scent too strong
Obsessed with this mousse. Never caused crunchiness, smelled divine, and defined my waves so well. But unfortunately, the scent was way too strong for me and caused headaches. So sad because it would’ve been my holy grail!

Not the miracle you think it is
I read a ton of reviews before deciding to just buy and try this. I don’t know my exact hair type in professional terms but it’s got a little wave when it air dries with no product and it will keep that but smooth out and go mostly flat and straight by the end of the day and the next day on it is more like a smooth ripple. If I straighten my hair it gets super smooth and curling takes well but falls without good hair spray. So my takes on some of the comments I read: Scent: someone said it was too strong and gave them a headache. I thought it was a normal strength scent for a product but I can see if you have any sensitivity towards smells this could affect you. I really liked the scent. Shampoo feeling: I could see where people were going with this as I put this in but no one mentioned that when you wash it out it is legit like shampoo LOL! Suds and everything! I just got in the shower and my hair got wet and it was just like shampoo, my hair was ever SUPER soft and tangle free while washing it out. Did it work? For me this had the same effect as any other hair product I’ve tried. I thought maybe my hair had more wave to offer if it had the right product but all this did was act like a soft hold hairspray. I left it in for a couple of days to see if sleeping on it made it any different. This stuff probably works well if you have curls you want to tame or define. Unexpected result: The should also be listed as a hair thickener - my hair was a lot fuller with this product in it and it kept all the flyaways at bay. It was nice having such a full ponytail with no flyaways. I will probably use this product for the thickening and smoothing properties and may even try seeing how it holds curl if I curl my hair with the product in it. I would just say if your hair type is similar to how I described mine, don’t expect a miracle.

Amazing!
I avoided Xmondo despite loving Brad because, lets be honest, lots of 'celebrities' and influencers pump out mediocre products hoping their fame sells their products for them. I didn't know his products were on amazon until recently, which is when I finally decided to try one because I figured people who don't even watch Brad have now bought his items and tried them and left great unbiased reviews. And yeah, I'm sad I wasted all that time with other products! It's pricey but wow. I have fine but dense wavy hair/soft ringlets to about my midback. I was on like day 5 after my wash and my hair was limp, frizzy, and dying and needed a rewash/reset. Out of impatience of just wanting to try the product, I dampened my hair and put some of the mousse through it and scrunched and wow, I've never had better day 5 hair lol. I actually have nicely formed waves/ringlets on my day 5 hair with just a quick refresh. I can only imagine how awesome it'll be on an actual wash day.

Perm in a can
This stuff is great. It turns frizzy waves into long ringlets

I will be honest, I was a more than a little shocked at the size of the can for the price it was but, I can honestly say it’s definitely worth it. I had been having keratin treatments on my hair for 3 years and wanted my curls back, and this wave foam absolutely smashed it out of the park! Despite its size it actually has a lot more in it than you would think. It’s really easy to use and left my hair feeling curly, soft and light. Would definitely recommend!

I was so excited for this product. I have straight fine hair that doesn’t hold a curl. I did get good curls on the first day, the following day I worked the curls again to revive my hair. I went to work and by the end of the day I had a fuzzy curl that look terrible. I washed the product out and have not used it since. Was disappointed because I enjoy Brad Mondo and believed the hype.

I’m flabbergasted by how good this foam is. I have slightly wavy hair and I always fight against it looking stringy. After using this my hair looks amazing (right side of the photo vs some other foam on the left). Also smells really good. Great product Brad Mondo and finally something specifically for wavy hair!

I'm still in the process of making my mind up about this product. Treatment of a health issue has left me with some significant hair loss. This means that I haven't been able to test this product the way I would like to & the way it should be for me to give it a fair & honest review. What I can do is share my observations thus far & return to it at a later date. When I tested it in my restricted capacity it appeared to be like a few other higher-end salon purchased mousses I've used before. It worked in a similar fashion, I sprayed out an appropriate amount of foam in the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together to liquify the foam, & then I applied it to my damp hair & scrunched like my life depended on it, lol. I could immediately tell that less is more with this foam, otherwise you run the risk of ending up with unworkable crunchy hair. The other immediate thing I noticed was the scent which is very pleasant. You can get an idea of the blend by taking a peek at the second to last photo in the vertical line on the Description Page. The ingredients are all natural & are represented in the form of a wreath in the photo. I appreciate that this product is cruelty free & has never been tested on animals, which is hugely important to me. It's vegan as well, & free of gluten, sulfates, & parabens. Who cares if it's gluten-free, no-one's going to be snacking on it, right? Well, it helps offer peace of mind in case of accidental ingestion, but more realistically some people can experience localised skin irritation from gluten in skin or hair products. So, it's best to not have anything that runs the risk of irritating any part of your person. I like that this product is colour safe, so if you already have any colour in your hair or are considering getting some, this styling foam can be used without concern. At this point, I think that the current selling price of $41 may present a challenge for some budget conscious people. However, it is available as a Subscribe & Save option which helps lower the price. And, if you want to continue using the product, you can choose the frequency of re-stocks, it will make sure you won't run out, & save you the trouble of remembering to order more. One of the best features of Subscribe & Saves options is the freedom to pause, skip, or cancel the subscription at any time with no penalties or questions asked. At the moment, if someone were to choose to purchase this product using the Subscribe & Save option, they'd pay $34.85 which is a savings of 15%. So, now I'm faced with the dilemma of how to rate this product. I would like to give it a 3.5 based on what I know about it now - which as you already know, isn't as much as I would want. But because that's not an option, I'll give it a 3 & reserve the right to return to edit &/or update this review. Hope this helped you a bit - I wish I could have offered more. Good luck!

XMONDO is a new brand for me. This is actually one of the first products I have tried from them. I have naturally wavy hair, but I usually straighten it. When I leave it wavy, I tend to use sea salt spray, though I have never been fully satisfied with the results. That is why I wanted to give this wave foam a try. This wave foam is meant to be used on damp hair, followed by scrunching, which I did. It definitely helped define my waves more once my hair dried, and it also added some volume, which I appreciated. For context, I have very thin and super long hair, so curls or waves usually do not hold well on me. Even though the waves are not as defined by the end of the day, I can still see them after work, which is new for me. This means the hold power is actually quite strong, but I am not totally satisfied. The foam has a strong scent, which I would describe as somewhat floral. I personally like it, but I can see how it might be a bit overpowering for some people. The application itself is really easy and pleasant. The foam feels very light and does not weigh down my hair. It also does not give my hair a weird texture, as some foams might. Use just a little bit, because otherwise it can feel greasy to the touch.
