Touchscreen not working, is there a reason why?

When i first used the pi 4 screen, i connected the raspberry pie. raspberry pi 4 touchscreen flickered and didn't display. what should i do?

Make sure you read the instructions about the screen as it is not fully plug and play. It will flicker on and off a few times while being detected and there is a driver you will need to install to rotate the screen and set the resolution but it is all in the setup guide. If you did not get a setup guide, go to the website for the manufacturer and download it from there. Just be aware, this id a DIY device and setting this up may impact usability of other default monitors like it has for me.

Can I install drivers alone on my RasPi4b build without a complete new image - if so where is link?

Seller gave me instructions to install driver on an existing image within 2 hours of my email. Amazon rejects my reviews and replies if I try to post them. Be aware that there is no way to REMOVE the driver without installing a new image, also verified by seller who states they’re working on an uninstall.

I am looking at using this as a portable unit, with no power cord and battery use only. What battery would be recommended?
