Amazing results!
The media could not be loaded. [Update] Our hawk kite has been flying for over a month now and we have not seen one single bird land on our deck. In fact, at one point, I took the kite down during a very high wind situation. In the five minutes it was not flying, three pigeons landed on our deck. I, immediately, put it back up. No more birds! I would say it’s been a smashing success. I am absolutely thrilled! By the way, it withstood the very heavy winds, too.[Original review] We have been dealing with birds around our pool for years. Tried several “solutions.” Most worked some of the time. This “hawk” kite is an absolute success. We haven’t seen birds landing since it was installed one week ago. Several birds attempted to land, only to do an immediate mid-air reversal and fly away. So pleased with this product. The string will wrap around the pole, but that is a minor inconvenience, in my opinion. And, no, it’s not just a kite on a fishing pole. Some impressive engineering went into this design. Well done!

Doing It’s Job
I’ve tried fake snakes, spinning things, and fake hawk statues for 2 years with limited success of keep birds away from the driveway and bombing the vehicles. Decided to give this hawk kite a chance.- I started by cleaning the poo riddled driveway with the power washer because want to measure the improvement of the kite.- Installed the hawk kite per instructions at the corner of the driveway where most of the poo steaks was occurring. Install was simple, but wear gloves, with anything fiberglass, it will find it’s way to annoy you.- I have plenty of daily wind so no issues keeping the kite flying. I have brought it inside during storms just in case.- Results have been good, 2/3 reduction in bird poo on the drive and no bombed vehicles. Overall it’s been worth the money and actually showed improvement verse the other options. Considering a second one for the back patio.

It works Great
It was the best deterrent to stubborn birds that really wanted in the barn but the winds were hard on the wings and ended up ripping the wings off , however I will buy this again because it works best

Easy to set up
These work great. Very easy to set up. We have high winds here and they are durable in the winds. Before I got this, my chickens were getting attacked or taken. I've got three flying around my 5 acres.

Doesn't work
Flies great as a kite. Pigeons are not scared at all, unless the kite is flying into them. Waste of money. Fiber glass rod broke after 4 months.

Made well, flies high, has not come apart.
Like this bird. It flies very high in the wind. Have had to cut limps several times as when air bound it has a large diameter it covers. Bought it to keep hawks away, think it helps. At any rate intersting to see it airbound. Strudy, held up last season.

Works, but bird kite torn apart in 2-3 weeks of use.
This seems to work for keeping geese away, however it started falling apart after 1 week and looks like this photo (sorry photo is upside down… thanks to Amazon camera app) after 2-3 weeks. String all twisted up and kite torn apart. I don’t see any warranty paperwork in the packaging.

It does work …however..
It works to keep birds and critters out of my garden. I’ve tried everything else and this works the best. But it’s made incredibly poorly and after just a couple weeks it was falling apart. Where the poles end inside the kite they poked holes and then it no longer worked. I found that duct tape worked well to fix it and if I buy another I’ll add the duct tape immediately to prevent any holes from developing.
