Crystal Clear Koi Pond Again!
Went into August with crystal clear water in my koi pond... Until algae decided to take over. The water turned green and I couldn't see any of my fish.I came across this product and gave it a shot. Took two doses, and my pond is almost back to crystal clear again. The directions are easy to follow. This product works! And the 21 fish I have in my pond are all doing fine.Highly recommend if you need to clear up your pond. Just make sure you read the directions! You need to keep the pond aerated while using it. I have 2 aerators and a waterfall.

Worked great for clearing algae!
Worked great for clearing algae! We used this in our 145-gallon outdoor tank with goldfish and lily pads. We’re in Central Texas where it’s been super hot and sunny, and the algae was getting out of control. After the first treatment, the water was still a bit cloudy, but after the second treatment (about 3 days later), it cleared up beautifully. We didn’t lose any fish or plants, and everything looks healthy. We plan to keep using it weekly through the summer to stay on top of the algae. For reference, we run a filter and an air stone full time. Very happy with the results!

Great stuff; works well with no adverse effects
Works better than any other product I've tried to control various forms of algae in a 3000 gallon pond. Water gets and stays clearer than I've seen it previously when using other algae control products. I don't have any fish to be concerned about but it hasn't harmed any of the water lilies or other pond plants. Only downside is for me it can be a bit expensive if I use as much as the directions say every week, so I'll often stretch out the applications to a lesser frequent schedule and I've found a frequency that works well for my situation.

Hooray!
Works fast, water cleared and stays clear. Wish I found this sooner. It would've saved me from cleaning out my small pool/waterfall echo month.

Works as Promised !
Great for small Ponds or water features. , I have a Frog pond with no aeration and another different feature in my Garden that is a small Waterfall. I have been using the product for 2 seasons and I am very satisfied. Works great , Good Clarity.

Very effective but cause my fish extreme stress
I'm torn when it comes to this product. I started using Algaefix last year, and the results were truly incredible. Overnight (quite literally) my pond went from a soupy, stringy mess to see-to-the-bottom clear. So of course, I bought more of this for the 2015 season. After my first application this year, I'm wondering if they switched to a new formulation. Here's why: Our pond had a pretty heavy algae bloom this spring. The water was green and like last year, I had a lot of string algae and floating algae. I dosed the pond with the same amount of Algaefix that I used last year and like before, the water cleared up significantly overnight. However, this time around, my fish were VERY negatively affected. I have a few small koi and a few goldfish in my pond and when I checked on them the morning after treating, they were all hanging listlessly at the surface or on the floor of the pond. Those at the top weren't gasping, just hanging there. They were so sluggish that I was actually able to reach in and pick one up with the fish putting up almost no struggle! I thought for sure they would die.I have a waterfall, a spitter, and two aerators in my pond, so this was clearly not a result of having too little oxygen (something the directions warn of for this product).About three days after treating, the fish are now moving around again. I'm torn as to what to do and how to rate this product. On one hand, it does work, and it works very well. However, I'm concerned that continued use may stress or even kill my fish.If you have fish or other aquatic animals, you might consider trying something else first. If you're fighting a really bad algae infestation or don't have aquatic animals, though, this is admittedly a good product for removing algae quickly and efficiently.

Must for my pond
I have had to use a couple times this year. And it works quick with killing the algae makes it use for me to clean it out of pond. Water is clearest it’s been in three seasons.
