Diverter Control Knob Failed and Poor Design Functionality
Beautiful, heavy, all metal product. Seemed great at first, but a weak design will render this product useless eventually...especially if you have hard water. Calcium and lime have destroyed ours after 8 years...and yes I expect more longevity than that at the price and with the heavy materials used. Of course the diverter worked perfectly initially. After about 3 years, the diverter cap had to be manually pulled to drop the water back to the tub spout. If you look at the cap, you will notice that there is no way to grip it. It is sleek and smooth and very difficult to pull, especially with wet hands. We struggled with that for a year or so, then the cap came off and was completely stripped and would not reattach. I checked the Hansgrohe website and parts were not available for this piece. I replaced it with a Delta part today. I won't be disappointed if the Delta part wears out in 8 years, because it was only $35. I had to change the control cartridge after 7 years too. And yes I know Delta now owns Hansgrohe. I guess you don't always get what you pay for...or maybe I shouldn't have bought fancy stuff without having a softener first. Either way...a little ridge for grip on the cap might have made all the difference.

Super Spout!
Had to secure required he socket wrench. Beautiful, functional tub accessory. Outstanding, efficient, elegant, superb quality spout.

Too bad the design is awesome
Bought this together with other shower fixtures from Hansgrohe, but to install a hex tool 7/16 " is needed. Now I am wasting a week to find this tool that doesn't exist in US. Went to Lowes, HD, Harbor freight, Ace, Osh, Ferguson... Really? if you are selling on the US market and this tool is so hard to find, why don't you include a 2$ tool for your customer. Just charge more if you need.... messing up our project, wasting our time. Too bad the design is awesome, and it seems good.

Nice
The button seems a little flimsy. Only time will tell if it weakens or breaks. Hopefully not. Water must. E turned off in order to switch from shower back to this spout. Finish is polished chrome. Nice finish
