i attached this to my monitor to allow me to switch sources easier instead of struggling to reach in the back of the monitor. nice braided cable and the plug part seems to be metal. Plug and play. My monitor is 1080 at 100Hz and is working at 100Hz with this extender.

Ordered to extend a Firestick 4K Max which was too bulky for my new TV's HDMI ports. The Firestick wouldn't fit in the 2 horizontal ports and was blocking access to my vertical eArc HDMI port, which I needed to connect my soundbar. I ordered the 1ft size and it gives perfect clearance to utilize any of the HDMI ports.It appears to be good quality and should last a long time. Setup was easy and the Firestick is working perfectly with the extender attached; no issues with picture or audio quality. I imagine it will work well with Roku or other streaming sticks too. I highly recommend this product!

It allows me to plug my Firestick into the back of my surround receiver. Functional, Image quality, sound, durability, and it's compatibility with dolby vision was its selling point. The fact that the cable bends makes it easy to adjust position.

I got a used Google Cast device yesterday; it connects to HDMI through a flat cable with little to no strain relief. I have found on other devices with this design (looking at you Amazon Fire TV) that if plugged into the TV horizontally, this puts a lot of stress on the cable. My Fire TV 4K device (square) was basically unusable after some years because of this. I didn’t want this to happen to my Google Cast device as they are so longer sold.This extra cable came today; it is nice and thick and provides strain relief. While plugged into the TV horizontally, it allows the device to hang vertically so as not to side-load the flat ribbon cable. Also makes it a lot easier to disconnect and reconnect if needed.

First impressions do have an effect. My 6" cable came in a cheap-looking box branded only "High Quality Product". This made me a bit suspicious so I inspected it as best I could. I was disappointed to find that the connectors on the two ends were not aligned with each other. Seems a shame on such a short cable, and these are often used for hiding things like Fire Sticks behind the TV where it can matter. Also, the fit of the connector plugged into my TV is a little sloppier than most. The cable is thick and stiff, with a braided sheath.All that said, it seems to work well. I used this to replace the 6" extension that came with my near-new Fire Stick 4K plugged into a 2020 TCL 6-series TV. I have been seeing video stutter when the Fire Stick 4K displays on my TV with the factory cable. After replacing the factory cable with this one, I watched 15-20 minutes of a 4K Dolby Atmos movie on Prime Video and saw no stutter or synchronization issues. So far, so good! While the cable is perhaps less well-assembled and well-packaged than others that I own, it seems to be very good electrically. I still don't think I believe the "High Quality Product" branding, but the cable works and works well. It appears to be quite good for its low price point.

I mounted my TV and realized that the HDMI cable from the soundbar to the TV, which had to go through the wall, was too short. Instead of taking it down and fishing a new one through, this connector was a lifesaver. Have not had any issues with connection or quality.

Great HDMI female-to-male HDMI extension cable for Roku or Amazon Fire streaming sticks that are too rigid or too long or too large to fit into a TV's HDMI ports. I found that the 1-foot length was ideal for giving enough extension length to fit my TVs. 0.5 was too short and more than 1 ft was not necessary.
