Outstanding cut and very comfortable
I bought this blade back in 2012 and have several other Oster blades going back to 2011. Every one of them is still cutting great, although I am just cutting my own hair, so that won't relate directly if you're a professional and using these day after day. For use at home, though, these are going to hold up. I do brush mine off after every use and oil them. After buying my first professional clipper (an Oster Classic 76), I was hesitant to buy many metal blades because I thought that they'd be less comfortable than the plastic adapters that I'd been using. I couldn't have been more wrong! If you're new to these blades like I was, I find the edges of the teeth on these to be more rounded and MUCH more comfortable. I have never once felt like I was gouging myself with these, whereas I had done that with plastic attachments. The other reason I hesitated was the cost, as these are normally in the $20-$30 range for a single length. Once I spent the money, though, I've never regretted it. These are fantastic blades that cut great and hold up very well.Assuming that these are as well made as the ones that I bought back in 2012, I absolutely recommend them.

This is a perfect
Sometimes I worry about buying blades on Amazon I’ve had to return a couple that seemed off. This one is great. Works great and arrived in manufacturer package and was on time. I will definitely order any I need in the future from this seller

The Oster Professional Hair Clippers, Classic 76 are an outstanding tool for barbers and professionals. The detachable blade system makes changing and cleaning blades super easy, and the clippers handle thick and fine hair effortlessly. They are durable, powerful, and a must-have for any professional. Pricey, but well worth it in the long run. Here is the math to prove it:
Bought an Oster 76 Classic clipper, along with a #1.5 and #2 blade for haircut purposes. This was a pretty big initial money layout, but has saved me several hundred dollars thus far on haircuts for my three young boys. I have no formal barber training and after several rounds of practice (where I would practice doing fades then just buzz down my hack job one clipper size for an even cut), I got quite good at the fade and can now give barber shop quality haircuts to my three boys. I attribute this less to my skills and more to the fact that the Oster 76 and these blades work terrific. They are very durable, they cut precise and what you see in the picture is what you get delivered. The blades are professional quality, exactly what my barber uses, and will last years. At $15+tip/haircut x 3 boys x 12 months = $720/year, this system has more than paid for itself. Plus, it is kind of fun giving haircuts. After seeing my boys, several family and friends have asked me to cut their hair, too, so I can only figure I am doing a pretty good job.

#2 blade replacement
The blade cuts fine however it doesn't fit as tight as my other blades. It rattles when using.

For your whole head.....
OK.....this works will as you would expect, but this review is for do it yourself hair cutters. My story. Years ago, I went to barber shops (and a mall discount hair salon once, but that is another story) Anyway, I was starting to get pretty thin on the top. Having no desire to run for president, I always instructed the barber that I DIDN'T want a comb over and they should cut the top short. They never did. I would end up going home and re-cutting the top and sides of the top myself with an old pet clippers I had (I never ended up clipping the dog with it) using one of those plastic combs that clip on. It didn't take too long before I skipped the barber completely and just cut the whole thing myself. My wife would do the bottom of the back. Anyway, this went on for more years than you would believe until the old pet clippers finally started to die. I got an Oster76 and found that with the replaceable blades, I could use it without the plastic clip on comb. The size 2 works well for me. I only have about 9 hairs left on the top and this blade makes the rest of my head just the right length so the hair is short, but I don't look like my head was shaved.
