It holds the bar, so essentially does its job. I like the design, as it seems more secure than the stock hooks that came with the rack. These are used as a primary set, but splitting some duties with the stock set.

I measured the hooks at 2.44" front to back. My rack tubing is 2.35" square, so the hooks fit nicely for me with just enough wiggle room.The overall build quality is good. There were some sharp edges on the plastic cup liners, but that is a minor issue. I expect these to last a long time.

Bought the 2.5” hook for my 2.375” rack and the hook was too small. Measured it and found the 2.5” depth was actually 2.33”.

These are seriously heavy duty and an outstanding value. I took off 1 star because these did NOT fit on my true 3x3" Rogue rack (had to mod as per below), but likely would have no problem on an imported 75mm rack like Rep. UHMW all over the front to protect the barbell, and on 2 of 3 surfaces on the back around your upright (front and back, but not the side). SUPER solid welds and thick steel, these are not going anywhere, you are safe!I took off the small piece on UHMW in the back, sanded it down a mm or so with a belt sander, and put it back on snug and PERFECT. Put a piece of UHMW tape on the back side part and it's protected all over. Now it's snug so there is zero rattle but it still slides on and off easily. I also easily took off the AmStaff silver logo with a 3mm hex key to achieve an all blacked out look to match my rack.Paid $80 for "used like new" and saved $125 over VERY similar 2" sandwich J-Cups from Rogue. Could literally buy two for the price of 1. Buy these for your 3x3 1" hole rack, they are awesome.
