Hot, very hot, for serious heat lovers only. Not for amateurs
From watching some Youtube reviews I expected this to be near on inconsumable., thankfully however this was not the case. Don't let that first line fool you, this stuff is HOT, very, very HOT!!! I ordered the Ultra Death sauce at the same time but am yet to try that, meaning so far this stuff is by far the hottest sauce, well... single hottest substance I've ever had in my mouth. My fiancée and I tried a single drop on a spoon each to give it an honest heat test and I assure you, as a neat sauce, this stuff is absolutely brutal. For me, somewhat of a hot sauce fanatic, the heat was extremely intense, the kind of blistering heat which causes involuntary face pulling and sharp inward breaths through pursed lips! While the heat borders on painful, it still has a very nice tomato flavour and the whole experience is very much enjoyable. The sauce itself has a sweet base behind a wall of fierce, lip melting heat. Even from a single drop, the burn is relentless, completely overpowering your senses for a good 10-15 minutes, gradually calming over the course of 30 minutes. I like it A LOT, I'll be adding a splash of this stuff to my next curry for sure!!!My fiancée on the other hand was not convinced. She's not a fan of very hot sauces, in fact she's not a big lover of hot food in general, but tried it out of curiosity after taste testing among others, a half spoonful of Encona's Carolina Reaper sauce a few days before I got this. While she found the reaper sauce painfully hot, she must have enjoyed it as she tried a full spoon the following day to see if she could handle it!! With Mega Death sauce however, she was in so much pain that she couldn't even taste the tomato flavour at all and couldn't tear her thoughts away from the fire in her mouth. It's safe to say she didn't enjoy the experience one bit. Remember, this was her reaction to A SINGLE DROP of the neat sauce! This is potent stuff indeed, one for serious chilli lovers and hot sauce enthusiasts only, in fact it would be a perfect gift for either of the above. The only downside is the price, but well worth it for a treat!

hot!
Yeah, I'm not a hot sauce connoisseur, but this stuff is hot! Don't be fooled into thinking you can just take a little sip from the bottle to see what it tastes like—because it has a kick like a horse!

Good s***!
So on initial tasting, and going against the recommend dilute before consption advice, I found it it be very tasty and with a damn good amount of heat. I often cook with it, be it a chilli or a curry, I add a few drops and I swear it gets hotter when cooked! Couldn't finish my dinner one night. And the toilet is now a permanently painted!

Not for amateurs
There are two types of people: normal people, and Chilliheads. This review is for the latter, as this stuff is way too powerful for your Nandos crowd (for whom it will probably taste like a smack in the teeth).Anyone who is a chillihead (like me) will know the sheer joy from the massive endorphin rush that ensues from the body detecting what it thinks are 2nd degree burns to your mouth. The ONLY way to get the rush is through (ab)use of super hot chilli sauces. However, once past that revelation, flavour becomes really important. After all, just as you wouldn't put curry powder in an Italian dish, it follows that recipe and fresh ingredients remain important. Many "wham-bam" cheapo sauces don't bother, simply assuming that heat, not flavour, is all that counts. Easy to do with access to pure capsaicin crystals, but the result is bland and artificial-tasting (e.g. any of the Dave's Insanity sauces). It is far more difficult - but ultimately more rewarding - to make from fresh chillis. That's where Blair's comes in. Originally a small batch maker, winning awards at specialist contests, he has developed a brilliant range of sauces, with recipes to suit all tastes and applications. I originally tried a limited edition Zakk Wylde Berserker sauce and was blown away not only by the heat, but also by the rich complex flavours that made it perfect to slap on burgers neat (yes, neat, on mayo).Alas they no longer make that sauce, but this is the closest I've found. Perfect for burgers, fish tacos and radioactive dogs, it can also be used to up the Rad-count on buffalo wing sauce, where the slight TexMex slant to the sauce compliments buffalo sauce perfectly. However it would be a waste to use it as an additive to a beef chilli. But a word of warning: this is realy hot stuff, even for a confirmed chillihead. I think the original "Death Sauce" Blair made weighed in at about 35,000SHU, about ten times hotter than something like Tabasco. This stuff is a mind-blowing 800,000+ SHU.Like any gourmet sauce, it is not perfect for everything, but there are other Blair's sauces.Brilliant.P.S. I should make clear that I'm not affiliated in any way with Blair's and buy all my own sauce. I just love this stuff!

Liquid, bottled hellfire
The flavour in this is... well, ignoring the spice, great. It's a bit like a metallic Tabasco (from how spicy it is), with a dash of barbecue. That being said, this had me on the floor, crying. And I consider myself a spice fanatic! I usually am fairly used to hot sauce - but Blair's is not to be taken lightly. This is a 550,000 SHU (800K for Ultra) delicious blend of peppers and his own sauce base - it categorically, absolutely, WILL leave you feeling like you put your tongue in lava. And for a decent price too given £9.99 for 150ml will usually get you a 60ml Tabasco Scorpion or very little to none of other sauces.Recommended(...if you're in for a ride!)
