This is the best sink procter i have ever had.

I didn't know that such a thing existed until we stayed in an a cottage in Dorset i did a search when i got home and found it at a lower price on amazon. Its is great for protecting the sink it is made from quality plastic and is easy to keep clean, , I am please i bought it and saves the sink from scratches and less likely to damage your glassware (I have a butler sink) it fits well and easily fits a sink with the plug hole in different positions

I’ve had my sink protector for around 6 months now and there are some things I really like about it. Being able to move the configuration about is very useful and I like that I can run it through the dishwasher. It has definitely prevented scratches on the sink and protects my vintage Pyrex dishes from damage against my ceramic sink. Knocked 1 star off because it no longer clips together securely and if bumped the two pieces separate.

I have bought so many sink protectors. The one where you cut it to fit the drainage hole don't work if the drainage hole is near the edge of the sink, the mat eventually breaks at the weakest part . Thus one configures to how you want it. Brilliant! It's not as large as the sink but it's the size of our washing up bowl which sits nicely on top of it. It has room underneath for water to flow so no lifting the mat to let anything drain. Only had it a day but it looks sturdy and is working well. A little more expensive than some but well worth it.

We have bought two of these now and they look great at first but soon get so dirty on the grey plastic (top) that they can't be easily cleaned, also black mould was starting to accumulate on them despite our efforts to keep them clean. As nice & flexible as they are we can't keep buying new ones every few months when they get to this state.

We wash using a sink bowl (well, mainly a dishwasher!) and sometimes prepare vegetables etc at the sink, so it's important to keep the sink clean, or at least easily cleanable. We've found this "protector" to be very useful in this repect. The sink itself is stoneware and as such it is slightly textured but very hard to damage so, for us, this isn't so much a protector, more of a means to allow water to flow freely beneath the bowl and avoid waste matter gathering beneath the bowl and making a mess. The way it can be configured for different waste positions is ingenious but, for larger sinks such as ours, less of a big deal that it might be for people with smaller sinks (such as a double-bowl sink unit with two smaller bowls).If it gets crudded-up (!) its very easy to clean off, and it keeps the sink in decent shape because nothing that could make a mess tends to stay there very long and is more likely to end up in the drainer basket for disposal from there. The slightly grippy top surface and bases of the feet do a fair job of keeping it and anything on it stable. It is fairly light and, without weight on it, can shift around a little and occasionally be a nuisance if it ends up sitting over the drain (doesn't block it, just occasionally gets in the way when I want to clean out the drainer basket).It's not an indispensable gadget for us, but although we could live without it, we're glad we don't have to.

The media could not be loaded. the first ever sink protector that doesn't soak you with water splashing out of the sink. Well designed and easy to keep the sink clean when you try and wash things like Bolognese off since it's raised more than most so food quickly goes underneath to the plug
