RitDye 42809 Nakoma Powder-Black, 31.9g

used a sachet to dye 300g of baby suri/silk/yak lace weight yarn. Left in for 60 mins with a cup of white vinegar added as per instructions. Literally mashed it with a metal potato masher to make sure the dye got all the way through the skeins. I used the black dye on an undyed yarn (so it was a beige colour) and its turned out a really nice dark grey. Happy with the results

Did an excellent job at dying my jeans just need to remember to keeep stiring while your clothes are in the dye as the dye colours start to seperate so you will end up with red blue or yellow patches on the clothes but overall its quite good.

Wish I'd taken before and after photos.But worked great for me.I have some material draws in my bathroom which were grey but faded and water marks on them but really like them so decided to give this a go before throwing out.Easy to use I filed up a bowl and put the draws in the colour isn't a midnight black but it's revived my draws and given a new lease to them . The dye is cheap enough so if I decided to darken them again it's easy and cheap enough. But for now happy with result

Doesn’t hold dye for too long

I followed the instructions to the letter, I dyed a pair of black leggings that had faded a bit on the knee…… after an hour of dying in a bucket, then rinsing the faded patch is still there. Waste of money and time

Excellent dye with great results and ithe price is very good ....also it's not packaged in plastic like other dyes which use loads of plastic . ( I refuse to use Dylan now because of their excessivel use of plastic ) So the Rit dye is a hugh improvement. Also very quick delivery.

I ignored the water volume so that it’d be more concentrated. Worked a treat. Revitalised some already black clothes. Bought more because it worked so well and did more items.
