ATOTOAC-44F8 Watchband Style Wireless Remote Control with Luminous Buttons, Key Mapping, for Both ATOTO Car Stereos and Other Brands, Substitute for Steering Wheel Controls

A good, responsive remote which was easy to set up with my Atoto S8 Standard head unit.Buttons are easy to configure - I am considering changing the voice command button to become a pause, but will wait and see which I'd use most.The only problem is that deciding on where to mount it is a bit difficult since, when on the rim of the steering wheel, it is too easy to catch the volume ring when cornering.I currently have it strapped around the right spoke of the wheel which seems less obtrusive but still easily accessible. If this remains comfortable, I'll use the sticky pad to mount it there as this would give me a little clearer access to it. It depends on your steering wheel as to how it will fit, I suppose.Overall, a good little unit for simple control of the head unit.

I have an ageing Japanese import Toyota Granvia Campervan. When imported it came with a double din unit that was replaced by the previous owner with an Xtrans unit for the U.K. market as the Japanese unit didn’t work in the U.K. Sadly after a few years the Xtrans unit failed recently but I was never a very satisfied with its performance being based on an out of date Android system. Also it hadn’t been installed correctly so only one of the door speakers worked. I took time to choose a replacement and settled for the Atoto A6PF system and I wasn’t disappointed. However that unit did not come with a remote control as as standard but this remote fitted the bill. I now have a unit correctly installed and with a remote unit that completes the installation. I like that you can program it to have different functions, which is easy to do. My only criticism is that the steering wheel adapter is a bit ‘heath Robinson’ so I may find a place on the dash where I can fix it. Not having the remote embedded in the steering wheel means that the remote gets activated when you are turning corners etc., which will need getting used to and the rotary control is a bit over sensitive. Other than that it completes the installation.

Communication with head unit is so slow and sometimes the buttons activate the wrong function. Unfortunately not fit for purpose

Fairly easy to fit, easy to program, a great addition that stops you needing to get the screen covered in fingerprint.
