Kärcher Adapter Set 2.643-037.0 Extension Hose, Black

I recently purchased a Karcher K2 Full Control which already uses Karcher's new quick connect system. I have always hated the hose that came with the unit because it wasn't long enough and I could never unravel it because its like a coiled spring. I looked around and purchased a beautiful 15m rubber hose with brass connectors that if I am honest makes the rest of my Karcher feel cheap. The only problem I encountered was when trying to store away the unit and hose together. The hose is reasonably heavy and ideally needs to be disconnected from the unit with each use. The clip that holds the hose in originally didn't seem like it would last long if I persisted in removing the new hose every time I used it. I did some googling watched some videos but no one really tackled this problem. How do I disconnect the hose every time I use the Karcher more efficiently. Thats when I came across this adapter. By screwing the 2 pieces together I get a quick connect to quick connect. Now instead of trying to pull this bloody clip up to release the hose every time I use it which if anyone has tried is a nightmare I just pull the collar back on the adapter and hey presto released. The adapter is well made and not exactly cheap but it is worth it for my circumstances.

I purchased a Karcher K4 Full Control around 18 months ago. The only problem is the supplied hose is pathetically short (6m), barely long enough to go round a small car and required the washer to be repositioned frequently.I acquired the hose from an approx 12yr old K7.91 which was faulty and being disposed of. It is a much more respectable 12m long. The lance connection is the same quick connect style but the washer end is a larger screw on type so I couldn't natively connect the hose to my newer machine.Enter this. It screws perfectly onto the end of the older Karcher hose (added PTFE tape as an extra measure) and the quick connect end goes into the washer as normal.So if you're looking to connect an older hose to a newer machine this is what you need. I only used the metal threaded part. I believe the extra plastic part in the package is for when the lance end of the hose is also non quick connect. Shame they can't be purchased separately but even just using the single part from this package its still far cheaper than buying a brand new longer hose.

As with all things products change so my new replacement hand sprayer to replace the long original lance needed a quick fit adapter.Hoped the female end would screw onto my old K2 but sadly not so I have a original extension hose now with this connector to a new 10m quick release hoseJob done but I can now wash the car next door too with the length of hose.

Bought to allow me to use my old style hose on my new Karcher jet wash, the old hose was a screw type fitting and this adapter allows me to use it save buying another hose as my old hose was nice and long not a short 6m one like what is supplied.

I was ready to bin my old patio cleaner until I discovered the adaptor on Amazon….cheecky little marketing trick by Kärcher but Kärcher remains to be a premium brand amongst the household cleaning world. I begrudge having to pay for an adapter to use older ancillaries on a newer product.

Allows me to use my older non Karacher hose which is longer and better quality. It was on the old K2 screw fit, this allowed it to connect with the new quick fix connectors

Brilliant connectors to use your old Karcher accessories with the newer fittings. Expensive but seems great quality.

Bought for my Karcher k2 but only 1 part arrived so sent it back for a replacement only to get the same one part sent to me again and did get in touch with Karcher but absolute waste of time so not happy
