OSRAM Halogen-Oven-Lamp/ SPECIAL OVEN / G9-socket / dimmable / 40 Watt / warmwhite - 2700k / for over 200 degrees [Energy Class G]

This bulb fitted perfectly into our cooker after the last one blew. The old one lasted 6 years. I'm hoping the same brand, being Osram, will last equally as long.I'm glad the advert description had measurements as well, so I knew I needed a T4 bulb because there is also a T3 which I believe is slightly smaller.Glad I could get exactly the same. Wattage and colour temperature so it really is just as if the oven bulb was as before.The packaging wasn't the strongest but the bold survived the postage okay.Not a bad price considering it. It is a specialist bulb and branded of course. So overall happy customer here and I recommend this one.

Works! Just hope it lasts longer than a year. As with the last one which failed, don’t touch the bulb with your fingers as it can cause it to fail I believe. I wore a new nitrile glove.The packaging was a bit minimal - in a card Amazon envelope, thin cardboard product box and in that a plastic blister. The box was a bit squashed but no damage to the bulb.

The Osram G9 high temperature 25W oven bulb is exactly the same make, type and style as the dead one I took out of our H2561B oven after five years frequent use.Removing the old one was easy after persuading the cover to unscrew, the grating noises from glass and steel moving over the ceramic holder is very disconcerting.Fitting the new physically-identical bulb without getting finger grease on the bulb was a nightmare; it would not enter the sprung centre-latch. I also worried about breaking bulb or ceramic socket. Eventually on the fourth attempt after straightening the contact wires on the bulb yet again, it finally went in, and amazingly still worked. And I’m meant to be an engineer familiar with fitting halogen bulbs of all kinds for decades!

Arrived by post in a Amazon A3 Card envelope with no added protection & the bulb box inside was squashed. Luckily the bulb didn't get broken. Definitely could have been a little better packaged as it glass.

The OSRAM Halogen Oven Lamp is a great replacement for my oven light. It’s dimmable, which is a nice touch, and the 40-watt bulb provides just the right amount of brightness for the oven. I've been using this in my Siemens oven as a replacement for the original bulb that failed after 6 years.This bulb has been working perfectly for 6 months, but unfortunately has now just failed on me.I've reached out to the seller to find out if this an expected life span for this bulb.
