Great food waste caddy
Super happy with this item.caddy is compact and has a nice design, very sturdy, closes well adn looks nice on the counter or kitchen.Colour is not white,it's a very light grey.Very easy to add the bag ( I used 6 l bag and fits well) and to put / remove the filter. The handle is super useful to move the caddy from one place to anoter. This is a good purchase

Well made, attractive and smell free
Nice and discrete and the usual Joseph Joseph quality. Easy to clean and the line has a filter, so the small of ripe vegetable doesn't spill over into the kitchen. You can use degradable bags or paper bags (I prefer the former, as they don't get soggy and split) depending upon what you need for recycling.

A great design - but sadly not the colour shown!
Really clever design, and pleasingly practical. Compostable bags (which ideally need to be bought separately, as shop bought bags aren’t the right shape) tuck in neatly and invisibly from outside around the internal compartment, the lid opens easily, the double shell system ensures that smells are contained and that the contents don’t overheat, and the carbon filter on the lid works very effectively. The only (and for me, sadly major) drawback is that the colour of the caddy illustrated in the item description - described rather vaguely as Stone - is very far from the near perfect white misleadingly shown in the various illustrions, and is much more of a muddy brown. See the picture taken from life on delivery against the illustrations in the item description (one included to show the difference). The vendor acknowledged this was a problem, but said that they were unable to do anything about it, as Amazon supplied the pictures, and they were unable to alter them. The caddy really didn’t fit colour-wise in our new kitchen, and we returned it for a refund. However, we had to pay for the return ourselves. Do make sure therefore that a much darker and browner stone shade than that illustrated is what you want before buying, or choose a different colour. Unfortunately, no white caddy is available in this design from this manufacturer.

Good quality and colour
Why did you choose this product over others?:Needed a good quality in door food waste caddy with charcoal filters as our area has added a weekly food waste collection and the council only provided a basic ugly plastic caddy. The liners are expensive and some should have been provided but were not. However cheap liners from the supermarket fit. To fit them just lift the top part off. Worth the money

Lovely useful small food recycle bin
Lovely quite ingenious little food recycling bin. Took a bit to find out how to add the bin liners (couldn't see anywhere that said how to change them), but worked it out. I am not sure why other reviewers said the stone colour was wrong, for me, mine is the pale stone colour shown which goes great with my not-quite finished new kitchen. Perhaps they were sent the wrong colour. I also found cheaper bin liners (6L) which appear to work. Love that it helps to prevent odours too.
