One of the best games for adults or for patient children.
Fantastic Rulebook. Terms explained on back cover. These points are often overlooked but very important. Also: Art work beautiful. Solid game, scales well w/player count. You need to plan ahead and it really is a decent game, the best in years. This edition is the best, and it is finally a worker placement game that I actually like. I played the tuscany + essential and did not like that very much. It feels "finished", instead of others that feel incomplete and are shouting for expansions.Compared to other wine board games it is simpler than Vinhos and less cruel than grand cru. It actually teaches how wine is produced. For kids however it is not very spectacular, would play it with intelligent adults, that may or may not like wine.Oh and did I mention you can play it solo against the AI of the game?

Very nice strategy game, smart and original. Very nice box too, made a great gift.
Unlike me, my other half isn’t into board games at all. Her passion is wine. I therefore looked for a game which could work for both of us.- Viticulture hit the spot dead center! It’s quite original in its approach of playing years for turns, with each season allowing specific winemaking actions. If like us you are a bit surprised by the rules and don’t know where to start, there are great 5-minute tutorials on YouTube which make it very clear. After this we both enjoyed it and will be playing lots of it. The board, pieces and cards are superbly designed and the quality is excellent. This is the Essential edition, which means it includes a few of the improvements which came with the Tuscany expansion as well a single-player « Autumna » mode.

We love this game
This game has been a great success. It’s a great two player game and also multiplayer. The dynamic of the multiplayer game changes game tactics. The game itself is easy to learn - the first round can be a bit confusing but once you play the first round you’ll have picked it up. There is a range of different tactics to play so game play remains fun. I’d recommend this game.

Amazing game
Watch a video first online to learn how to play it, then read the instructions as it will make a lot more sense. This is an incredible worker placement game. No 2 playthroughs are the same, excellent it 2 or 4 player, will drag if more than 4 in between goes. Cannot recommend enough.

It's all in English as I hoped
Having reviewed the 'question and answers' in the listing I was very hopeful that the tag 'Polish edition' was an error. I received it December 2024 as as the photos show its a brand new English Language edition in prestige condition!

Great game
We like board games and this one is a bit different. Only played with two so far but we’ve found it very enjoyable. Requires some thinking through your strategy and the turn of various cards provide the luck . It is a bit expensive, but probably on a par with other games of this type

Totally Engaging
Complicated, but well worth persevering with the rules. We all enjoyed playing it and I think we'll play it many times more, as there are so many little decisions and strategies to try. You start from nothing so you get a real sense of achievement once you've filled your first order, regardless of whether you win or lose the game.
