How many quarts does it hold?

OK so once I look at the actual item entry in amazon it seems that the 12.5 inch does indeed have the helper handle so it is like ours. The 12.5" chamfers down to 9" base with approx 4" height. Calculated out, it would seem it can hold 6 quarts if filled to the brim, probably 4 quarts comfortable depending on what you are cooking.

couldn't fingoure out the size in the production description: " 25.7 x 12.4 x 8.7 inches ", what is the height and the bottom diameter of this pan?

Bottom diameter is 9" Top diameter is 12.5" and it is 3 3/8" tall. handle to handle 26" long.

What is the weight of the 12.6 inch version? The maximum weight I can handle is 5 lbs.

There is a 12.5" (Top Inner Diameter) Mineral B version with two riveted handles (not the one long and one helper handle one), that weights in at 6lb 5oz on my kitchen scale. Hefty fella. If you are looking for lighter pans and if can tolerate a 2" height, try the De Buyer Force Blue Paella pan. The 13.5" Force blue weighs 3lb 1oz on the kitchen scale. Much much better but no where near as versatile as the Wok height chef pans.

After seasoning, still leaves black residue on paper towel. Is this normal?

Yes, I believe this is normal. I just rinsed mine while rubbing with a soft cotton cloth until all residue was gone. This did not remove the seasoning. Then I reseasoned again and again in an attempt to reach seasoning #11 as the chef did in a video. But I grew weary of that and stopped after about #4 because my skillet was nonstick after seasoning #1 or 2. It just had not gotten to the black color.
