yes it does, my alesis hihat was missing edge hits and had some problems with open positions so i also switched top alesis hihat symbal with roland cy-12c crash symbal, this combination works perfectly, no issues at all anymore.

Hi, the problem with the strike pro is that the Hi Hat software has to be updated regularly for calibration reasons, a problem Roland etc will laugh about sadly!, as for this Goedrum controller, don't bother as compatibility issues will only add to your frustration!

What is the difference between ghc, ghc-y and ghc-an ones? will it work with xm drums ah-9s set (to replace original controller, looking the same)
