Not only is the Taser the best out there, the flashlight is very well made with a red light, a medium brightness cool white light and an extremely bright high beam.The flashlight is pretty much a flood beam but on the brightest setting it has a nice spot in the center of the flood. It is plenty bright enough to temporarily blind anassailant in darkness. The battery, I was most impressed with! I fully charged it with a USB -C cord overnight and the next night put the light on its brightest setting. It took over 4 hrs to fully discharge the battery while having to turn the flashlight back on several times because of an auto shut off feature after a fairly long period of time.The light did not get hot to touch during the whole time discharging the battery. The Taser continued to work and l believe maintained its strength throughout mydischarging of the battery. It does have a battery level light going from green fully charged to amber to red for low battery.I had been looking for a high quality taser for sometime and have bought just about all of them I have seen that looked like quality products. Several with flashlights combos.This is really the only one I have purchased that is truly high quality and above and beyond my expectations! Now, it is very expensive for such a product but to me very well worth it. I will be purchasing more for ones in my family. Good temporary protection from unruly animals to unruly people and a great companion to a Glock!

I wanted a genuine Taser product and I got one here. A few other reviews made it sound oversized or heavy but it's actually quite compact like a small flashlight and solid as one would expect from a serious tool. It's well built. It's got a great light with excellent switches, a grippy hold and a wrist lanyard for retention if you want it. I finished charging mine to 100%, practiced a few times with the controls, saw and heard a very satisfying and impressive crackle of electric current, and checked the stats to be sure it holds a long charge -- it can fire 5-second bursts 100 times between recharges. This puts the cheap import toys to shame and is exactly what I would expect in terms of value for a genuine Taser brand weapon. And yes, the literature does refer to it as a weapon. It's not a toy. In fact it will probably be your primary flashlight and you'll have the added security if you ever need it. Charges in a couple hours with USB cable. [Update: I just bought a second one in the white color.]

This worked fine for a year. Then the taser stopped working. (I test it bi-monthly.)I contacted Amazon and the company and they are not responding. At $169.00, I would think they would at least reply. I now own a $169.00 flashlight. I had recommended this to my sisters, my aunt, mom and several female runner friends. I will discourage anyone further from purchasing.

I tried this on myself on the chest and ribs and while it hurt quite a bit, it didnt come close to taking me down. So its not as powerful as i would like. Maybe if it were a longer touch, it might be more effective. its a nice design and good quality, just not much stopping power. The light is bright and blinding so thats good. Im not sure if i will keep it.

i was skeptical at first because i bought a few crappy taser flashlights in the past. I paid more than expected - but what a great flashlight - and a taser to boot! works great and comfortable to hold. Charge holds well and easy to activate the taser part. if you are looking for a quality taser, and a great flashlight, I recommend this one....

This is a great device to carry in the vehicle. Not only does it function incredibly well as a flashlight, but it also works wonders for personal security. The sound of the stun feature being triggered scares off most would be assailants in parking lots or during road rage encounters. I've only had one of each since having this, but unlike pulling a sidearm this flashlight is confusing for those outside the context of your own self-defense. When you pull a pistol, the cops get called by everyone. When you trigger a couple of warning zap zaps, most people outside the situation look around in a confused manner. It's a quick way to deescalate a situation without wasting the time of law enforcement.

Used this beauty a lot great flashlight in both modes loved it then 1 week past warranty it wouldn't turn off until it died now i cant get it to charge...... bummer i thought it would last.
