I have the samsung s23 ultra and used the otter box defender for this phone and it worked perfectly

Should Otterbox Defender case be removed before installing screen protector or can it just be left on during screen installation?

I would say remove the case then install the screen protector, it has a jig that holds the screen protector flat to the screen.
