Soft Watchband Compatible with Fitbit Charge 6, Charge 5, Charge 4, Charge 3/3SE Silicone Wristband All-round Protective Band Replacement Strap

This is based on my limited experience and some speculation. The item took over a month to be delivered, and I'm guessing that is because the demand is high. It was worth the wait.I really like my Charge 4, a Fitbit product that is now discontinued. One of the stubs to which the OEM band attaches failed such that the clip mechanism wouldn't work, but the watch still functions well. I fixed that by using Gorilla Glue to re-attach the band at that point - and that helped for a while, until the original band began to wear out. I wrote to Fitbit to ask if they had a solution, and they offered me a newer model "discounted" to a price over that available in the market.Because this popular model was discontinued and because the item reviewed here is apparently well received, I'm guessing the failed band connector is a common problem, not just damage I may have caused.I chipped and filed away the Gorilla Glue and old band segment. This new band doesn't need that part.Here are the attributes of interest:1. Makes it possible to use the Charge 4 after the band attachment fails.2. Allows operation of the watch using the button though the button us covered by the rubber case.3. Allows the watch to be charged without removing the case, though some care is required in connecting the charging device.4. Features the means to tuck in the tail of the band so it is not floppy and does not need a retainer.5. The pin that sets the spot where the length around one's wrist is metal, not just a rubber nub, so that appears to be a good material choice.6. The band looks great - better than the originals.Recommended.

A significantly better design than the OEM wristbands that like to detach and drop your watch in random places. I lost one that way. These bands don't detach. The watch fits securely within the one-piece design, and there's no removing this band on accident. Therefore, I see no way to lose another Fitbit thanks to this design. All bands that snap on are risky at best. There's no snap to this. Just security.

I had two Fitbits with broken bits where the wristband attached so that they could no longer be used with a regular Fitbit band. This style of band allows you to put the Fitbit INTO the holder portion! You can still charge it normally. It is rubbery so doesn't breathe, so if you're working out, you might get sweaty - BUT it's apparently water-resistant so you can wipe it off, or take the Fitbit out of it and wash it a little more thoroughly. I also WOULD like the way the band tucks INSIDE but it's a little uncomfortable trying to slide the end of the band inside. Once it's in and on your wrist, it's pretty comfortable. Wish I'd found this style before I bought the second Fitbit only to have the bits on that one break, too!

So far so good. A lot of the reviews said that there was a problem with the fastener breaking. I have not experienced this yet but I do understand what they're talking about considering that it is very flimsy.

Used on my fitbit charge 4 because the tabs on the fitbit have broken off. So i can’t use the attachable style bands anymore. This works perfect for my fitbit until the fitbit itself quits. I wasn’t ready to buy a whole new fitbit just to have regular attachable bands be able to be used again. I am going to make this work. Thanks for this design.

Thank god! My Fitbit broke at the clasp part & I wanted another. This band saved me from spending $120 on another plus elastic band I was looking at to hopefully not have a repeat break.Whoever designed this was smart because the tail/flap with holes (you know what I mean, idk what to call it) it tucks against your skin, under the rest of the watch making it smooth and not catch on things. It holds my Fitbit very snug and the buttons are still easy to push.* Doesn’t seem to register when you go up a flight of steps I’ve done it at least nine times and it still says one.

The Charge 5 fits well but the sides ore covered and that made the health metrics not work as your fingers need to be in contact with the side pads. Sad, I really loved the orange color and that's not easy to find

It would really be nice if the black didn't take 2 to 3 weeks to get and that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Having said that I accidentally got the navy blue for my Fitbit charge 4 and it actually works, feels and looks far better than I expected. The touch screen becomes more sensitive once fastened on your wrist, more so than with the factory band. When you first try to latch it on the notch, it seems like you need to make it really tight but turns out it's better to make it feel a bit too loose and then once you put the excess end through it tightens up to a perfect snug feeling. All functions work perfectly and now the touch screen only requires a very light touch unlike before. The manual button even though you can't see it is easy to push If you want to use the screen that way. The most difficult part is installing the watch into the band however it's not hard at all If you install it from the bottom up and not through the top of the band. Definitely recommend it if your Fitbit charge 4 band watch connection breaks instead of throwing the watch out or buying another one!
