Simple and fast AP
I like TP-Link products. They are simple, inexpensive and do the job. Fast WiFi, extra wired ports (including a PoE port), small and looks unobtrusive. Supports the features I needed: VLANs, multiple bands and protocols. I don't have enough TP-Link devices to use their Omada controller, but I tested it and liked the ecosystem. If you go for TP-Link router, switches and multiple access points in your deployment, it would simplify management a lot.

Best extender we have used to send wifi to a different building.
This product was the solution to sending wifi to our workshop that is over 100 feet from our house. This is the third extender we have tried and it works very well. We can even get a signal at 200 feet away.

Far superior to Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-Lite
I replaced a Ubiquiti UniFi AC-Lite with the EAP653. The EAP653, which supports WiFi 6 and OFDMA unlike the UniFi, instantly provided substantially improved speeds for 802.11g/n 2.4GHz clients about 100 feet away. The mounting bracket is metal and designed to accommodate not just direct ceiling and wall mounts, but also most common junction boxes. The EAP653 has prominent ventilation slots, so I expect it'll be less likely to discolor its case and its mounting bracket from intense heat than the AC-Lite. It supports industry-standard IEEE 802.3af PoE, unlike the older AC-Lite that only supports UniFi's passive 24V PoE (the AC-Lite will self-destruct if connected to 802.3af PoE).The Omada controller software is similar to the UniFi controller. It's less polished in appearance, but supports more features. For example, it was easy to set up SSIDs that only connect to 2.4GHz or 5GHz on the EAP653; that wasn't so with UniFi.Note that the EAP653 doesn't come with a power adapter, and it has slightly less gain (and thus range) than the otherwise-identical EAP650. Given how much better the EAP653's reach is than the AC-Lite, I don't think the lower gain is a problem.

Met my expectations- but this one
I’ve been using this on the farm for almost a year, and couldn’t be happier. The farm is located in the middle of nowhere with a small town wi-fi service company.I’ve got cameras for the cattle set up, wi-fi for the gardens and camper- and it works beautifully.

Things to know to save you time
All in all this was good for my mesh setup. BUT, it's not as easy as people had me thinking. You do need the OC200 controller if you want a mesh setup and don't want to use a compute that you would have to leave on and connected full time. First, once you set up the controller, it takes a few minutes for the wireless EAPs to show up. Now, what may be a little confusing is that when using the app, when you see the EAP show up, you have to tap it and Adopt it. Do this for each one. Once your done, these will already be in mesh mode, which it didn't really tell you and the app has a separate page to setup a mesh system... but you don't have to mess with that once you do the above. SMH. There must be a reason why it's there, but I couldn't tell you. Hope this will save you a lot of time.In the end, it has great range. I was about 500ft from the eap and had 2-3 bars on my phone.I put these up on 3 telephone poles in my RV Park that are about 300ft apart. Then the wired one is about the same distance away at the office with the controller. Now the park is 5 bars strong anywhere you go. Speed was consistent at any given point in the park.

Faster than my previous WAP
I purchased this to replace a TP-Link WAP that was 2.4 years old and slowed down to a crawl the last few weeks for some reason. I elected to purchase this new model even though the price was a lot more, since I tend to keep electronic items for a long time. The WAP in my shop is 11 years old.The install was standard and I could do everything from the browser. I do wish the device came with a static IP to make it easier, but not a big deal.I gave the "WIFI" 4 stars because I was about 100 feet from the building in an open field and the signal was average. Since this WAP is mounted high and there is nothing around this building, I thought my phone would receive a better signal (my expectation could be incorrect). With that said, the speed in the building is over 250 which is way more than I need. I believe my previous WAP was around 55.Configuration took about 7 minutes and once I rebooted the device, my 17 devices all received an IP address and started working. Very smooth install.
