My laptop is a couple of years old. It works great but the plug-in portion of the charger seemed to have gone bad and was causing problems with my laptop not charging. I checked to ensure this one would fit my laptop and when it arrived I tore open the envelope and checked. Whew! Yes, it is an exact fit and YES! My laptop is charging without the plug-in being jammed up against a wall. Not sure what was going on with that plug, but I'm once again happy that I don't have to worry about my laptop not charging! Excellent price for an HP laptop charger.

As a disabled veteran and author, I depend on my PC! Last time a power cord went bad, I went to an office supply store to replace it- and even the generic cord was pricey, plus no one could tell me exactly which level of power my PC needed. This cord is perfect- and will not damage my battery. At less of a cost than a meal at a fast food restaurant. Swift delivery meant no down time, and no need to go searching in a store. I almost feel that I should order a spare in case my cat decides to eat this cord-- I could certainly afford to keep one on the shelf for emergency. Thank you!

I am grateful to have an extra cord, it's nice because it stays at work, while my original stays at home. This helps tremendously with keeping from forgetting one or the other.

This is a good replacement charger. It doesn’t throw off my laptop when charging and it works exactly like the one that came with my laptop. This is the best replacement I have ever purchased. This is one that I will repurchase if any foster puppy gets this charger too.

The plug into the computer fits well and securely. The segments of the cord fit securely with each other and do not become unplugged from each other in use. So it works and doesnt give me any problems.I have found the cord is a bit shorter than the original cord. Sometimes you need those 3-4 inches. One other thing--the vekcro loop provided to secure the power cord in a coil is too small. Getting packed up takes longer because you have to wind the cord up just right. A larger velcro tie would have been useful.Overall, I rate the cord a good buy for the price. I found a better cord for about $59 while this one was just under 15. I can be flexible on feature for $44.

It's helping my laptop charge just like my original charger that came along with the laptop. Its not ruining my battrey life or anything. I am satisfied using this product for so long now.

I would've loved to leave a 5-star review, but the cord didn't last me two months. I'm writing now at the 2-month point, and the plastic cord casing started to peel back, exposing the copper wires. It wasn't long before those started to bend and break as well. I even tried taping up the cord with electrical tape to no avail - hopefully the seller will use better quality products.Edit: The company made it right for me so I increased my rating!

My power supply died right in the middle of some classroom work. I needed it quickly, so I ordered it from Amazon, hoping it was the right one, even though it looked like it was from the picture. I'm very happy with it. Started charging the battery in my laptop as soon as I hooked it to this power supply. Have not had a single problem with it.
