Perixx PERIBOARD-517 Waterproof Dustproof Keyboard with SGS Certified IP 65, Black, UK Layout

An excellent keyboard, quite heavy and robust, so not one for travelling with. The keys are also quite loud, however it has a great feel to it, operates perfectly and as I said nice and robust - just what I was after.this is a wired keyboard however so battery life is irrelevant!

...its put keyboard.Purchased to replace the OEM keyboard which failed after 3 years use and the key legends were wearing off.In comparison this keyboard is in the class of 'Brick Outhouse' constructed.You could probably use it in unarmed combat and write up the incident afterwards.I will admit it is anything but quiet in use and that may be a down side, but in 3 years of near continuous use it has not skipped a beat operationally.I have several Perixx keyboards attached to various computers in corded and wireless configurations and from micro to standard sizes all seem to offer the best functionality to price combination. The 517 is also one of the best value waterproof keyboards on the market other mainstream names are twice the price.So if you want a keyboard that is industrial tough, can cope with the odd spilled drink and can be rinsed through this is the keyboard for you.Clunky, Heavy and Traditional, like a manual type writer; BUT it will still be going strong after most others have failed to operate.Don't buy it for gaming or the occasional letter but buy it because you are working at a keyboard for 6-8 hours a day.

My wife can kill keyboards, mice, TV remotes and smartphones at surprisingly regularly. After getting through five keyboards in the last couple of years this one should last. She has given it a tea bath already and its fine. Washed it under the tap, towel dry and its back in service again.

Nice keyboard but the bright blue led indicator lights are a bit too harsh. Green, red or amber LEDs would have been more suitable. I had to tape over them with black electrical tape to comfortably use the keyboard in the evening and at night.

After cleaning the keyboard it takes 3 DAYS / 72 HOURS OR MORE to dry sufficiently for all the keys to work again.This is true for ALL FOUR KEYBOARDS of this model that I have, very disappointing.

Very good item

Had to order this keyboard in a hurry due to working from home last minute. Sturdy structure and easy to type on the keys. Standard UK Querty keyboard and delivery was ahead of schedule so no delays. Very pleased with this product.

Fab key action and looks like it will stand the workshop environment for a long time. Quality 10/10
