Surprisingly, this rolling, compact, vertical bike stand IS amazing and great for smaller spaces. Since my place doesn't have garage/shed storage, I keep my beach cruiser indoors to keep it from 'drying out' in the desert heat. It is simple to put together (if you're accustomed to DIY projects - even if you're a beginner DIYer. The biggest issue was in gauging where to set the track to best accommodate the length of the tire. If you don't set it to accommodate your tire, then it would be difficult to set the bike's back tire to sit securely on the frame. It took me several tries to figure that part out. The Velcro strap really does help stabilize the front tire once you lean the bike on the frame. This is a sturdy bike rack and easily and smoothly moves to wherever you need it to be. Storing the bike vertically has helped in keeping it out of the way - and supports my industrial, shabby chic, eclectic decor!

Excellent rack. Functions as it should. Just the right size. Easy to put together. I bought 3 and it took me about 40 minutes to get all of them assembled with the bikes on them. The Velcro strips that keep the front wheel from turning are a bit long, but you can wrap them around the frame a few times or cut them shorter. Better too long than too short. If you have a “trunk” rack, I don’t think your bike will fit onto the rack. I removed mine because I don’t really use them anyway. Just adjust the bottom holders that keep the back wheel in place and adjust the height where the seat sits and the bikes fit perfectly. Very stable and easily moved around from place to place. Definitely a good value.

This looked like the perfect bike stand for my needs and I was all set to buy it, but then I read the reviews. It seemed like it had great reviews in the past, but when I looked at recent reviews, people had all kinds of bad reviews: missing parts, incorrect parts, holes that didn't line up, and unable to assemble. I decided to roll the dice and if I had the same experience, I would just send it back.However, this was not my experience at all!Everything came in a compact cardboard box. When I opened it, every part came wrapped separately and everything was in perfect shape. The 4 steel pieces each came in their own bubble wrap bag, the wheels came in another bubble wrap bag, the 5 Allen screws (3 longer, 2 shorter), 5 acorn nylon lock nuts, the 2 stamped steel wrenches and the Allen wrench were all packaged in a zip-lock bag. The instructions were in color on large, glossy paper and the assembly diagrams were large and very well illustrated and there was no confusion at all. I had it assembled in ~20 minutes and it would have gone slightly faster if I had used my own nut driver/socket and a electric screwdriver with an Allen bit.I could not be more pleased with this bike rack! My 20# Specialized Roubaix carbon fiber road bike fits perfectly! The rack is very sturdy and stable, and rolls easily. The locking casters not only lock the wheels from rolling, but also lock them from pivoting, making the stand a perfectly stable platform that won't move at all.I wrote this detailed review because after easily assembling this perfectly designed stand, I'm amazed that there were so many recent bad reviews and I wanted to share my experience. Easy assembly, easy to move with bike. Have a few bikes and this allowed better use of space. Sturdy

This product delivers as advertised. It's sturdy, easy to assemble and store the bike. I especially appreciate the ease of moving it around with the wheels. You can lock the wheels in place as well.Highly recommend this product.

Purchased and assembled it last week. I thought the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I'm not a handy person so I followed the instructions to the T. I used my mini wrench to tighten the lock nuts on the 5 screws. The tool that came in the box didn't work for me.Perhaps the instruction manual has been updated, I didn't think it was difficult or complex to assemble the bike stand.My heavy mountain bike looks stable on the stand. I hope the bike weight does not completely fall on the back tire because it rests on the brackets.Overall, it's a decent and portable stand. Straightforward to assemble. Just follow the instructions and pay attention to the drawings for which way to assemble each part (I had the tire brackets up side down initially).

I've been looking for a vertical bike stand for years for my ebike & took a shot with this one since it was on sale, but highly rated.It was easy to put together and as described.When I was finished with it, I was worried if it would hold my ebike since it's almost 60 lbs.Took a bit to get it on the stand the first time, but it held it and was balanced. It rolls nicely, compact, and does save room in my apartment.
