I broke my shoulder and have a long road to recovery ahead of me. Early on after surgery my shoulder would hurt just from the fatigue of guarding it and hugging in close to my body. This brace helped hold my shoulder snug in the socket so I could relax some and even feel somewhat safe that my shoulder wasn't going to dislocate itself just because I walked too vigorously. It gave me stability and confidence to leave the house and go on walks (and the armor padding is a big part of that confidence, though I don't need that anymore a few months later.) Comfort wise I wasn't quite as happy; I purchased the large size and I'm not a big guy, my arm has even shrunk as a result of the injury, but pulling the brace up my arm to my shoulder was quite a struggle (and impossible to do by myself due to my injury). Once it was on it felt great, but getting it on was far more work than it needed to be, and again impossible to do on my own. Beyond that, I'm very happy with this brace and will continue to use it on days when my shoulder is tender.

Works very well I have an A/C type 3 separation . I have had a fall not directly on the injured shoulder but close to it and didn't have any discomfort. The hard shell cup could Do with a little more padding for comfort on clavicle bone on the end . Does run small I found ordered a medium 1st and had to send back for a large , I did notice a difference between the 2 sizes the medium has stitching all around the edges where the large does not so it stretches more, sometimes too much after a while and you don't get the same compression. This is my 2nd order.It does give you a secure feeling , so I would say worth the money the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because of the stitching.

I've had trouble with my rotator cuff and bicep for over a year. Had the injection, which worked great. Due to the recent upheaval with insurance and the gov't shutdown, my authorizations are slow getting approved. Desperate for some relief, I searched the internet, found the EVS Sports SB04 Shoulder Brace. After reading the reviews and seeing the cost, I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I have been wearing this brace from morning until bedtime. It has stabilized my shoulder and bicep. The adjustable straps for compression are the bomb! I've not had to use ice or take a bunch of pain relievers. I've been able to utilize my arm so my shoulder doesn't freeze again. I was unable to raise my arm to type, to shower, to do laundry, etc. Even driving was difficult. Now, I have been able to accomplish day to day tasks while wearing the brace. It's not the same as having no injury but it is definitely a bonus for me! There were no instructions in the box but it's not difficult to figure out. I am a 42D and ordered the large. I cannot get the brace over my clothing as pictured, however, I think the brace should be worn next to the skin for better compression/protection anyway. I have sensitive skin and so far no problems. I am considering ordering another one to have on hand when this one needs washed. I cannot say enough good things about the brace and how it has helped me! It has given me back some of my independence! It has been a true life saver! I highly recommend the EVS Sports SB04 Shoulder Brace to anyone having rotator cuff problems!

Would I do have a persistent injury in both shoulders, compression doesn't help me. What I wanted was a shoulder pad for my leading arm when I ride my OneWheel. First thing I'm gonna do during a fall is tuck my leading arm and shoulder roll. Unfortunately that comes with the risk of breaking ones collar bone and that's a risk I don't want to take. This worked perfectly for those days that are just too hot to wear an armored hoodie. If you're buying this for compression, get one size up. You're not a medium, you're a large. If you're buying this purely for shoulder protection like me, you're not a medium, you're an extra large. Large will be way too tight and actually cause you shoulder pain if you don't require compression. Scale up/down accordingly depending on whatever conclusion you come to on the sizing guide. One size up by default, 2 sizes up for protection only without compression.It's a fantastic product and I've already had to put it to use. I'm okay. Just be aware of the sizing.

I ordered this product in size M. I was on the upper half of the size range for medium. However, when I received the product, there was no way I was going to be able to put this on.First, the arm hole was too small to fit over my bicep to the point where I could not get the shoulder portion to sit on my shoulder (and I do not have much bicep muscle). Second, the 'strap' was waaaaay to short for me to grab with my other arm to bring around to attach to the front.I guess I didn't realize there were more options for this product, I'm going to return the M and order the large, but in the SB03 configuration because I don't need the flap. I see good promise in this product as I believe it will provide better shoulder support as compared to other competing products with a thinner strapping mechanism that feels like it would rub or ride up, as opposed to the support structure on this one.
