A Great Buy
Absolutely happy with this product, works perfectly and connects straight away. The only problem I can foresee for some users, are the instructions for connecting other devices.Memorizes upto 5 Bluetooth connections and instantly connects once switch on.

Doesn't have a long lifespan, dangerous battery!
UPDATE: I Contacted Kitsound and showed them the photos and despite the fact the adaptor is almost 3 years old they immediately sent out a replacement by courier at no cost to me, that's customer support second to none and justifies changing the rating as far as I'm concerned! So I purchased this in September 2017 and initially I would say it's the greatest thing I've ever bought, I had a smart TV and for the first time ever tried Bluetooth audio and it was an amazing experience, no lag, crystal clear sound, perfect to use with my small wired earphones when the wife was sleeping.Unfortunately after a while I noticed when it was charging it started feeling really warm. Eventually this week the whole thing just split open, turned out the battery was dangerously swollen and now it's only fit for recycling, real shame and I don't think it's good for it to be so dangerous, if I'd left it charging and not been in the room it easily could have set fire to my apartment!!!!

Works well in most cases
Works really well with my Sony NC headphones. Only downside is it gets knocked out on older seats with the sockets in the arm rest.

Flashing lights?
Connects fine to phone and other devices, however it’s a complete downgrade from the headphone splitter. Useless flashing lights, inability to charge and use it at the same time, and during certain videos there’s a loud distorted click noise at random moments. Battery life seems pretty long.

Brilliant simple fix
Simple fix if you don't have Bluetooth in your car. Advantage is not having to use your phone to switch tracks if connected via Aux. Excellent sound quality, only annoyance is a bright blue flicker ever few seconds which is bright when driving at night! It is useful though as it reminds you to turn it off when leaving the car (saves the battery going flat) overall, I'm happy with it and it's significantly cheaper than buying a new head unit!

Didn't work for me
Got this and a set of high quality rather expensive earbuds for a number of flights to and around America. I don't know is this is simply faulty or if the product is just poor quality. The set-up was easy enough but fitting into the airplane headphone jack it was so loose and I actually had to hold it in place. It would then work for 10-15 minutes until it would let out a deafening electrical static sound where I turned it off and on again which seemed to get it working again...for another 10-15 mins. Couldn't use it. I tried it on another flight and it wouldn't work at all despite repeated attempts. It made the investment in high quality earbuds somewhat redundant for the trip. Again, perhaps this one was just faulty but definitely won't be getting another from this manufacturer. Very disappointed.

Easy to set up, turns any 3.5mm headphone set into wireless headphones
My phone does not have a 3.5mm jack so I couldn't use my favourite headphones until I bought this. It has excellent battery life, brilliant sound quality and is quite well made. Just be careful with the volume as the preset on this thing is much louder than on most devices.

Used on a 10-hour flight, worked perfectly.
I purchased two of these for myself and my wife to pair them with our bluetooth headphones. These are very easy to set up, they paired instantly and the battery is very good. During a 10-hour flight I used mine for around 6-hours, it never wavered once. I have not used it from full to empty battery so I cannot confirm the actual battery life but if you want this for long-haul flights you can be confident a full charge will last. I used mine with a TUI Dreamliner and it worked perfectly, thankfully the headphone sockets are located under the monitor, not in the arm rest like older planes so it unobtrusive. Definitely worth the outlay for convenience of using our noice cancellation headphones with the planes monitors.
