Q: are the rollers plastic or metal?

Hi Thanks for getting in touch. The rollers are made of a high density POM nylon plastic. This material has been tried and tested and wins outright when it comes to combining durability and noise reduction. Q: Is there a similar style that is floor mountable?

Hi Our most similar floor mountable option is our Nylon floor guides. They are sold in a pack of 4x Guides and work on doors with grooves cut in the bottom and without. Q: The smallest dimension that can be achieved using the small roller from the wall to the edge of the side of the roller where it touches the door?

It can adjust to just about any size. I could probably get it down to less than a quarter inch

Thanks for your question. We have an illustration on our images showing the heights of each guide. If you click on the main picture to enlarge it you'll see extra images. The 7th image shows the height specs. However to answer your question the tallest guide is 2 1/4", The measurement is taken from the baseplate (which is 3/16" thick) to the top of the nut.
