the tabs on the outside edges are horizontal as required, but housed in molded plastic that does not allow tabs to lock in place

Good looking replacement grill
The process of replacing the old grill with the new one was a little more complicated than first thoughts. I had issues with the new grill snapping into place on the light assembly notches and found the new grill had tabs that kept it from clicking into place. A little shaving of the tabs with a utility knife quickly remediated that problem. Finding the proper fuse to connect the red wire to was also a challenge. I ended up using a fuse that receives 12v when the key is turned on and then the lights go off after about 15 seconds. I really like the looks of the grill over the OEM Ford grill though!

Looks amazing
I recently installed a replacement grille with attached lights on my F-150, and the final look is fantastic. The grille looks amazing once installed, giving my truck a sleek and stylish upgrade. However, I did encounter a few challenges during installation. The clips had edges that prevented them from fully inserting into the truck, so I had to modify them using a dremel tool. This can be seen in the attached pictures. Due to this required modification, the install took longer than I expected. Additionally, the lights attached to the grille are not as bright as I had hoped. I did end up attaching several more lighting options to the grill before installing it on the truck. Despite these minor issues, I'm still very pleased with the overall appearance and functionality of the grille. I t's a great upgrade that significantly enhances the look of my F-150.

Sun faded in less than 6 months
Easy to install, good fitment and looked great for about 5 months. It sun faded real bad in less than 6 months. It won’t even blacken back up with vinyl dressing. For that reason… I highly recommend not to buy. Must be cheap material. I give it a C+
