Fantastic little hub
Simply, I was amazed at the ease and functionality of this. Quick screw in to hold in place, just plug and play. Done. Nothing else required.

Future proof on a budget
Works great. I now have att 1 Gig fiber service. My line is over provisioned at 1250 up/1250 down mbps. I wanted to upgrade my old gig switch to take advantage of the speed and future proof my network since 5 Gig is available in my area.

Plug and play upgrade
I noticed that my 1G switch was not recognizing my FIOS router as 1G port and would negotiate down to 100M. If I forced the router to be 1G only, the switch would object and not connect. Replacement time.Got this thing and now at 2.5G between router and the switch. Speed is great. Where it is a bit challenging is that there is no easy way if any devices are at 100M. The light indicator is the same for 1G or 100M. Yes, advertised as such so no surprise, but would be good to know if any devices are not negotiating to the full 1G.

Great, cheap ethernet switch that's held up over time
I've had this switch for well over a year now, and had zero problems with it. It's simple, and lets you plug 5 devices in from just a single ethernet run. This allowed me to run ethernet from my office to my living room for hardwired internet to my TV and game systems with extra room for expansion. It's small, cheap, seems solidly built, and comes with a power supply. My one complaint is that the housing is not metal - but for the price, you really can't ask for much more.Highly recommend if you're looking to expand the reach of your hardwired internet on the cheap!

Connects at 2.5Gbps
My Eero 6 Pro routers and my OpenWRT router set up as a NAS (using a USB3 2.5Gbps ethernet dongle) are all connected with Cat 6 cable (45ft longest) and all achieve a 2.5Gbps connection.Unfortunately I don't really have a reliable way to test the speed at a full 2.5Gbps (I'd have to purchase another USB dongle) and I haven't tested the SFP ports either since I have nothing that can utilize 10Gbps yet. I am able to get a 1.01GB file to copy in 10s, however, that is over a 800-960Mbps wifi connection. Will update this review if/when I have a way to test the speed.

Cheap build quality but for the price you can't beat it
Cheap and does what it says it does. Build quality is not great but everything works as it should.

Device Works - Not as advertised - Minimal Support
The TEROW 30 Port 24x2.5Gbe+6x10Gbe switch does seem to work as needed. However, there are some things that need to be pointed out.1. This item, when I purchased it, features a photo of the switch with the words "Fanless" and "Silent" in it. This switch is a data center switch and is not fanless and is the loudest thing in my rack. It whines and is quite annoying to have in a working environment. As far as I can see, there is no way to control the fans.2. The switch came with rack mount ears and tiny screws that were in a non-sealed bag, so some of the screws were missing.3. The switch comes with basically no documentation. The small pamphlet it comes with tells you the default IP, user, password, and that you can use a console cable. It does not provide the default configuration expectation, the WebUI guide, the CLI guide, any documentation on the types of SFP+ supported, firmware upgrades, etc. It also does not provide a phone number nor a web site for Terow. Google cannot provide a website for Terow either, as far as I can tell.4. To get support for this product you will have to find the magic link on Amazon that allows you to "talk" to Terow. They did respond to my questions, and did send me the guides needed, but it took multiple times of me asking them to respond with the answers I needed.5. This switch does not support passive SFP+.6. When you do receive the manuals, expect them to be extremely bare-bones and poor quality. It looks like they took a competitor's manual set and scanned them in and did OCR on them and never cleaned up the resulting doc. Tables are jumbled or misaligned, sometimes text is wrong, etc. This does not make the switch a bad switch. Just know what you are getting into and ignore the false advertising of this being fanless and don't expect a lot of support.
