The oblique pen was a game-changer for me. Getting my nib installed was a bit tricky but only because I am inexperienced. This pen is a good buy.

This oblique holder has a really nice feel when using. Has a lovely inset. I like that I can remove the flange. If the nib base is a bit too tight, by removing the flange, the nib slides in nicely. Since I am an amateur calligrapher, I can only speak with limited authority.

I’m very impressed with this holder. The oblique is perfect for my hand and it feels very comfortable. And improves my writing so much! It even holds nibs that don’t fit into my standard straight holders with circular inserts. There is a nice weight to it as well and it looks/feels like solid wood. Seems durable too

It was a struggle to insert the nib. I had to force it. Now I can't pull the nib out to change nibs. Usable still but I am unable to change the nib without destroying it. I have to use pliers to pull it out.

Very nice oblique pen, except I should have done my research before purchasing. It is for a right hander only. I am a lefty. Can't use it.
