The hair catcher works as expected. It blocks about 95% of hair from going down the drain. Also, the catcher is easy to clean. However, it does slow down the water flow a bit.

This is a wonderful hair catcher, the best I have ever tried. If you want something simple and inexpensive to keep from having a huge plumbing bill down the road- get yourself some of these for your tubs. I don't think one hair made it down the drain after I bathed my dog the other day. According to the glob I cleaned off of it, that is! Worth the money, is heavy so the water stream does not push it away....

I have very long hair and on wash day, these are a life saver. No more hair down the drain. It fits perfectly.I love that it's nice and sturdy. It does have some weight to it and that helps it stay in place. It's made with a thick silicone.I haven't had any issues with the water going down. In back of the packaging it does state that the flow slows down.
