I know these are for children but i bought these for a client who is an adult. I’m a caregiver and i take care of a 78 year old woman who has suffered two strokes and has Alzheimer’s disease. She really likes stim stuff like bubble wrap, Velcro and snappy buttons but she also enjoys writing, and drawing or painting circles. I knew she’d either love these or have nothing to do with them and getting them for her would be a small risk in that sense but i branched out anyway. Turns out she really likes them! Especially the donut one because she can move the pen in circles to follow the outline of the donuts. She enjoys the scented brushes as well (maybe another stim thing?) i enjoy the minimal clean up and how convenient these are and the fact that they can be used over and over and over again. We’ve used them more times than i can count and they’re still in perfect condition! A little secret—her husband and myself both like to use them as well! 😂 Turns out they’re pretty relaxing and i might get some for myself as well as my nieces. Really a great product.

These water paint books are perfect for any little that need to be kept busy! The pen is super easy to fill and doesn't drip water continuously. Perfect for a long car ride or an easy night time activity, without the mess. The pages dry relatively quickly for a quick clean up.

These water books are perfect for toddlers! especially if they are not good with markers quite yet. When they realize the picture is revealed after the water is painted on, they get very surprised and is a fun experience. No Mess whatsoever! I think it was a cute idea too, to make the tops of the water Pens scented as my daughter gets a kick out of it

These are so addicting!! I got them for my two and a half year old and she LOVES them too but even I am addicted to them now haha they are sooo relaxing and as a mom I need something relaxing sometimes! And of course you can do it over and over again which is a huge plus. Only reason I am doing 4 stars instead of two is that the pens/brushes do leak quite a bit if left brush side down or laid down sideways on a table or put in a backpack so that sucks, and while using it sometimes it lets out a little too much water on the page. Also only other complaint is that there are only 4 pages and I wish there were at least six pages or something because they are a lot of fun.

We have used these twice now. The first time the tip of the brush broke when my daughter, who was gentle with it, went to fill it up. Each book was only 4 pages which left my daughter saying “that’s it?”The pages aren’t as invisible as I thought they would be so when the water paints the picture it isn’t much of a surprise. The second time around, the paintbrush would not send out water to the tip. I tried squeezing, opening and closing it, shaking, holding itdown, and then it finally started working.The best thing about it is that the scents do smell sweet and nice.We have always used Melissa and Doug’s water works books—but wanted these cute smelling ones this time around—waste of money! I wish I just brought another pack of Melissa and Doug instead of this one.

Used these on the road trip to the beach. Kids loved them. Water doesn't last long and I made a mess on myself trying to fill them in a moving car. Good thing it was hot out and the water dried quickly!

These really exceeded my expectations. My 2yr old daughter loves this toy.Some of the reviews suggest that pages don’t hold up, but ours is doing great after several uses. The pages are sheets of chipboard with a coating that enables the color to appear when wet.My daughter tends to scrub with the brush over the same spots, and again, this thing hasn’t fallen apart.Great gift. Great value. Highly recommend.

Where have these been all my life? Don’t get me wrong, I love for my toddlers to paint with the real stuff.... but seriously, MESS FREE, scented, REUSABLE PAPER?! my mind is blown! These are my go to for those hectic, last minute, and car ride kind of days. Best money spent.
