Nice reverb pedal!
The Mini Universe is a gateway to wonderful sound manipulation, using a variety of flavors of reverb. In addition to the more common sorts (room, hall, plate and spring) others, such as shimmer and bloom or cloud are also available. Generally speaking, one wouldn't expect to receive this level of quality for thirty six or so dollars. I have, so far, used it with Tonex One, and in the effects loop for my Egnater TourMaster. I'd say that this is a very good value for the price. Having purchased it so recently, I've no idea how long I should expect it to be useable like this, but for thirty six dollars, a most worthy value.

Best for the price!!!!
By far the best noise/shoegaze/lofi reverb for the money there is. Period. It does normal reverb very well as it has plenty of controls w the param knobs. It shines though when you use the weirder stuff on the pedal. Shimmer is a great one. Lots of great sound for u def $30!

Multiple great digital reverb sounds, build quality slightly lacking
Amazing reverb sounds for the price. Apparently an attempt at a stripped down Strymon Big Sky clone. Well worth the money for the sounds alone. The pedal has been updated to a newer build, as indicated by the Bypass vs True Bypass script writing. Inside the pedal now has a circuit board revised in 2024 that includes digital bypassing and a different kind of footswitch. Though there is no earth shattering pop, there is still an audible noise that happens when switching the pedal on and off.The pedal itself is made out of decent quality metal and rigid built, but the knobs are melted plastic awful, and so are the pots. When opening the pedal, I had to tighten all of the pots the best I could to ensure they functioned properly. If you're planning on using it on a board in a gigging capacity, I'd maybe buy two just in case.

Good budget pedal
It works. Reverb is good, but take that with a grain of salt as this is my first reverb pedal. The only issue I’ve found so far is that it does have the high pitched whine other reviews talk about, however it goes away if it’s used on its one, no daisy-chaining with other pedals. I’m going to test it with an actual power supply and see if that goes away. And it does have the pop when you toggle it. So far though, I like it.On my guitar with humbuckers, it doesn’t have too much buzz, but on my strat (with single coils) it’s pretty loud. For $31 (on sale) it’s pretty good. If you have the cash I would get something nicer though.

It almost works but not reliably
When I first plugged this pedal in there was no sound at all. The second time a very loud whine. Third time was a charm and I finally got some signal from it but that whine was still there in the background. Then there's the popping sound when I step on the foot switch and it is LOUD! This makes the pedal pretty much unusable even though the effect itself (when you finally get it to work) actually sounds pretty good. There aren't many differences between each of the settings but the "Bloom" was probably the most enjoyable. That setting was the most similar to the Strymon Cloud Burst and that's impressive. Too bad you can't really use the pedal due to the popping and whining and unreliability.Don't bother with this thing.

A great pedal
I got this for my husband for Christmas and he's loved using it! The sound adjustments to his electric guitar is awesome.
