Excellent Pool timer.
Had it professionally installed and it works great. Not much videoa out there on it, but the programming was simple once I got the hang of it. The case seems durable. I have it in a room so I dont see any issues happening with the case. It works great. Comes on when its suposed to and curs off when its supposed to. It can be used outside of the timer settings without messing up the timer settings. Overall great product.

Great For Lawn Irrigation Systen
I installed a new lawn irrigation system, and the homeowner was using the wrong type of control timer. I bought this one to replace the old one and it is easy to install and program. It works perfectly. I and the homeowner are very happy with this timer.

Arrived promptly and works great
This was very easy to install. Since this is for an outdoor application, I used liquid flexible conduit, water proof connectors/interfaces and outdoor wire. I used water-proof connectors throughout and redid the connection to the pool pump as that was shorting out whenever it rained heavily and wouldn't stop shorting to ground for a week or two. This started after the heavy rains during the remnants of a tropical storm in the fall of 2011 that caused flooding throughout our area and left a film of dirt on the bottom of our pool. This replaced a mechanical timer that no longer worked properly. I will rework it and use it for other applications if I can make it work again. The product was very easy to wire up. I am using it in 110 V mode. The power comes in and you connect the common and the hot wires to the appropriate terminals. Do the same out to the load using the load out terminals which for me is the pool pump. You then wire in a 3 way switch into the switch terminals. I just wired all the grounds together in the box. It would have been nice if they provided a ground terminal for all the connections but this is unnecessary. The common and hot wires establish the 110 V levels or 220 V levels if you were to run that type of load. There are cutouts for all the connectors where the wires come in. I just used a pocket knife to remove the appropriate sized cutout. I would have thought that the cutouts could have been made easier to remove but making sure it maintains waterproof properties is very important so I would prefer that they err on the side of maintaining waterproof properties. I am very happy with the programmability. Seven days and one on and one off event per day which is enough for my application. With the external switch all the functionality I need was there. The override can also can be done internally at the display but the external switch makes it super easy. I can't complain, you can pay alot more for similar functionality in a digital timer switch box. So this did exactly what I wanted it to do and I am very happy. So long as it lasts a long time I will continue to be happy. If I can edit this review later, I will let you know how it lasts over time. But so far, no complaints.

This is a nice timer, it could be better with a few tweaks
This is a nice 220v timer (110v capable) that could have been perfect with a few tweaks. Nonetheless, it represents a good value, and probably one of the best single-device timer available in a reasonable price range. This was installed to replace a mechanical Intermatic mechanical timer. The reason for replacement was two-fold: most importantly, the Intermatic is only a daily timer, and not capable of running something twice a week. The other reason was the timer is 22 years old, the motor was noisy, and was replaced to avoid failure.Straight-away be aware that this cannot independently control multiple devices; you can certain attach multiple devices, but they'll be controlled by the same schedule. That also means you cannot mix 110v and 220v on this timer. The box is plastic which is good because it eliminates any chance of electrical shock, even if a ground wire fails. However, the three knockouts on the bottom of the box are difficult to remove and you will probably end up cracking the gaps in between the knockouts. I highly recommend using a hole saw to remove precisely the opening you want.Unfortunately, there were no knockoffs on the side, so I used a hole saw to mimic the existing conduit runs and simplify installation. Use common sense when doing this so you don't drill into the mechanism. There is plenty of space in the box to bring multiple conduits together, but unfortunately, the screw terminals aren't really designed for this purpose. Your choice is to use a wire nut and bring a single lead out to the terminal or carefully put the wire on either side of the screw. This is a huge miss on Honeywell's part. The box is very hard to open, which is a good thing. It keeps people out unless they really need to get in there. On the other hand, it makes it difficult to control the timer manually, but Honeywell thought of that and added a set of terminals that let you override the timer and turn it on. I mounted a marine grade panel switch on the bottom to turn the pump on manually.,The timer is straight out of 1995, but it's functional. You can have up to 7 independent events. The on/off is set down to the minutes, so the minimum run time is 1 minute. You can either set up an event to be on a particular day or every day. Since this was for a polaris pump, I used two timers, one to run the polaris on Monday for an hour, the other event to run the polaris on Thursday for an hour.It looks attractive enough, it's a good value, and it appears to be reliable. Please note that I purchased an amazon return, and I believe the reason it was returned is the first purchaser had the 110v/220v switch flipped in the wrong direction and simply returned it. Amazon as usually handled it fine, but be aware that returns may not be innocent. In summary:Pros:Flexible Timer, simple to set up and install, seems to have a battery backup, and programming is straightforward, secure box, terminals provided to have external override switch which works great, on/off times as little as 1 minuteCons:Plastic case is brittle and can crack, all knockouts are on the bottom and very difficult to remove, screw terminal are too small and are not robust, and programming could be a little more flexible

Great product.
Replaced an analog timer for the water heater in the cottage. Works great and easy to use. Hardest thing was getting the knockouts out.

Great product
This product i found was really easy to install. I am a fully licensed electrician, but I do feel that anyone would be able to put this up and wire it in because of how basic it is. The programming on the other hand I find it way to sensitive. You could easy throw off the timing by accidently clicking a button. I would hope that they change it to a push and hold style to change rather then the way they got it now. They do use the push and hold to go from auto to manual and push and hold to change programs however it would make more sense if they reversed those. Product is really good however and those things that I pointed out are just my preference faults nothing major
