Helps with IBD, small bag however.
My cat has IBD and this has helped a lot with her frequency of diarrhea so far. With vet’s permission I also feed it to my other cat since it is hard to feed them separate foods. I like that it is still prescription, but a bit more affordable. I do wish they sold larger bags. The cats seem to like the taste a lot!

Love the GI diet!
My cats love this food! The smell is normal and the texture is like most cat foods as far as chewablility. The cats LOVED the flavor and it’s going to be great for their tummies! I prescription diets are worth it!

Not impressed.
First off, feeding your cat raw and or wet, fresh meals, is superior to dry. I often will only feed dry and freeze dried as a toppers. But this particular food is honestly.. not that great. The first ingredient is soy! Third being corn, to which cats cannot digest! Yet this food claims to be easily digestible? The only meat is poultry by-product.. not even high quality meat? And what kind of poultry? Cats with allergies to chicken cannot eat this, cause who knows what all "poultry" is in this. Turkey? Quail? Doubt it, since chicken is cheaper.Cats are obligate carnviores and need meat to thrive. This food will not give you that. If you insist on feeding this, buying soy and corn at the grocery store to feed your cat would be cheaper then this, considering the price gouging on this food is outrageous. For a supposed prescription meal, it doesn't give any added benefits when comparing to other prescriptions like hydrolized meals that require specialized processing.I am overall disappointed in the quality and pricing of this product and cannot recommend it to others. As for whether or not the cats ate this.. they all turned up there nose to it and I ended up having to feed it to my dog instead, who will eat anything. But I digress, I will not be purchasing this in the future.

Worked for my cat
Great food! It is appropriate for my cat’s needs, and he enjoys eating it. It’s a bit pricier than most foods but the bag is quite large so it lasts a long time for a single cat.

Great prescription diet
I’m a vet and I feed this to both of my indoor male cats. I like that it’s appropriate for both kittens and adult cats, is urinary appropriate, and easy on their tummies - it’s great for transitioning new cats in the home. My lucky cats find it (and the canned version) extremely palatable.
