Worst thing I ever order

Well, obviously I didn't look very closely at the product page because I sure as heck didn't know it had a teddy bear pattern. Certainly not my style. That's OK since I put it in the closet. It was extremely difficult for me to assemble. It took way too much time for what it is. Overall it's an OK product. It could be much improved & made more user friendly to assemble. Also, unless it's for a child, I suggest leaving the teddy bears behind.

I think this can be considered sturdy since it has metal-lined shelves. I have placed my shoes on it and it seems to solidly stand without tipping or swaying, so I can give this rack points for being sturdy. What I do not care for is the design. I did not realize that there are teddy bears all over this as a design. Teddy bears are cute and everybody loves them...heck, I love them but not for this shoe rack. I do not decorate with teddy bears. That is just not my vibe. I guess I should have looked closer at the ad before I got this. This rack does save space because of how tall and thin it is. That is a plus. I love being able to reclaim any space I can in my home. What I do not care for is all the gaps between each shelf. That is really bothersome for me. I think it makes the rack look much cheaper than it already is. One last thing I do not care for is how tedious it is to put this shoe rack together. Its not difficult... its just a huge, tedious, pain. It took about 1 1/2 hours and a ton of patience because it was difficult to create a shelf and then fit it over the previous shelf and so on, and so on...Such a pain!!I do not care for this rack. It would be better suited for my daughter if I had a daughter. But then, my daughter would probably like only the best, just like her mom, so maybe this fictional daughter of mine wouldnt care for this shoe rack either.I am giving this 2 stars because of the hassles of putting it together and because of the gaps between shelves. Aside from that, I am not really saying its bad. Its just cheap-looking and juvenile and its not for me. But then, at its current price point, maybe this cheap, juvenile shoe rack is justified.

It’s winter and I’m stumbling over a pile of shoes by the front door as I come in and throw mine to the pile. I need to do something about this. I’ve tried shoe racks before, many. Most shoe assembly required shoe racks end up tossed a side due to various ways they met their demise such as pets, weight, etc. But this shoe rack surprised me.The package was small and neatly organized. The instructions were very simple and clear. You just follow one step repeated over until done, what could be simpler. But more importantly, it’s very sturdy. It has yet to bend or break, even with the heavier boots on top. Yes, the design is geared more towards a kid’s theme, but the practicality of it overshadows that.It may not be an eye catcher or fit in the design you may be going for, but it works and that’s what I needed. Shoes up and me not stumbling over them. That’s how it should have been to begin with.
