Twist It Up Comb (Bond Black) - Alternative for Hair Sponges, Creates Curls and Twists for Black Men, Tennis Racket Design

So I’m on the fence about the rating, but here are my thoughts as to why I gave it a 5.I purchased this product to support a Black owned business and product (highly recommend).As far as the actual product and grease provided, they were quality products!The only caveat is that it doesn’t work/coil my hair texture. I wish I knew my hair texture (example 4c) but I don’t, but I can only say I didn’t get the results I expected.But again!, that’s only me, so don’t hold anything against this product. It’s a great value for the money and the build quality is perfect.

I have 4 boys. All have different hair textures from soft/mixed to almost 4c. This works well for all hair types. I suggest using a cream and mousse mix then using this! I got several compliments on my boys with their fades with the curls on top!!!

It’s different brands of the same design so the design does work to twist the hair however over time it pulled out my hair. This was my daily styling comb and over I wanna say six months my hair went from long 4 inches to an inch and less in some places. I’m thinking it could be a few factors. Maybe I had split ends and so easy to break off the hair. I use good hair products, my hair is healthy. I think the twisting daily and sometimes at a fast pace of twisting it, pulls and break off the hair. Beware of that.

Great alternative to the curl sponge! Gives a slightly different look but way easier to maintain!

The comb does EXACTLY what is says! Its great for curly to kinky hair and instantly provides a more defined texture. However, the two plastic halves came apart within 1 week of use. I has already used the QC code provided with the product for a 1 year warranty. However, I was unable to submit a claim as the website provided no instruction on how to do so and there was no CS number to contact. When i went back and checked mu warranty online it said it was only valid for one week! I could not receive any assistance! I ended up using a super glue gel to reattach the two plastic halves. I was successful but the inner metal grid (the twister) is loose and spins around. Surprisingly it still works pretty well but with the metal grid spinning, it makes it a bit harder to use.

Worst item I’ve purchased from Amazon hands down. I got suckered into buying it because of marketing. So the marketing for the product is EXCELLENT but the actual product is a waste of money. It made my sons hair look worse than what it already it. The grip on it is not designed for hands. I have small hands but my other family members have larger hands and still could t grip this comfortably. This hurts especially if you accidentally get close to the ears or scalp. Poorly designed all the way around. Literally.I’m very disappointed with this product. Save your money and time.
