I got this actually for facial steaming because that helps with my pores and provides a lot of hydration to my skin, and allows my skin care to absorb better. That works fantastic. The side benefit to this this is also for your head and hair so I can put in a deep treatment mask and put this on and it will help heat up and steam gently it’s not overly hot, My scalp. This allows for the hair treatment to penetrate deeply into my hair and if I’m doing a scalp treatment, it penetrates into my scalp as well. This is a really nice product and I totally recommend it.

This is a poorly made product. It's quite possibly the worst I've ever encountered on Amazon. Despite many efforts, this product simply won't work. ... After plugging it in, the sensor beeps and shuts off. Even after adding salt to the canister, as directed, it still happens. The water reservoir doesn't snap in securely. The cheap, plastic attachments are barely strong enough to interchange and do not seat on the base securely. After many attempts, I've never been able to use this useless heap of crap. This is nothing more than a poorly manufactured, hunk of cheap plastic. It's your worst "Made in China" nightmare. PLEASE, PLEASE, save your money or find another manufacturer! In theory this would be the perfect item, but this is nothing more than a box of unusable, plastic trash. One star is far too generous.

I love this product. I wish there was a tighter grip for the water filled part. You can touch it and it falls right back off

I used to have a gigantic all-in-one esthetic machine that offered steam and some of the features in this QUEESALN Hair Steamer, 2 in 1 Hair and Face Steamer for Natural Hair with UV Ozone, Hair Humidifier, but was tired of giving up floor space to my beauty robot.But I needed an efficient way to steam hair for treatments, and found this hair steamer available to try.Does very well for my specific, small-scale, at home use, and doesn't take up too much cabinet space when not in use.Love that it has multiple functions, but I have thus far used it primarily as a steamer, and it's been great for that. Great for setting hair, too, on rollers with a steam set that's warm enough to make the cuticle take the curl. Even better for conditioning treatments.Great find and happy to finally have a smaller device for the beauty, as the number of beauty devices seem to increase with each birthday.Great find - five stars!

Okay so I got this because I've been watching a lot of those deep hair cleaning videos and I was inspired to treat my hair better at home, but I'm not sure this is exactly what I was aiming for. However, I will say that this DOES do its job of steaming.It's easy to put together and intuitive to use. You use the little measuring cup to pour water into the tank and after a minute of so, the water boils and steam starts coming out! I'm not really sure what the ozone function is for and tbh I don't think the steaming did anything for my hair BUT the steaming was really nice for my face! It was very facial-esque. I steamed, then exfoliated my face, and my pores felt so clear and my skin was soft and glowy.Not sure how often I'd use it since it's not exactly convenient to just leave on my counter, but I do like it for when I want to give my skin a little extra love. I can also see this really coming in handy when I'm sick and I need to clear up my sinuses. It's kind of clunky to store since it's got all these weirdly shaped parts, and it's a bit pricey so I'm not sure I'd recommend it unless this is exactly what you're looking for. Overall I like it and I'd recommend it if you want a way to easily steam your face.

I get the worst frizz & static when the weather gets cold. I use a lot of hair masks to tame the static. This steamer is such a great tool to have on hand, it really allows hair masks to get deep into the hair strand. The facial steamer is really nice for Getting facial products to absorb into my skin. For such a small unit it really provides a good amount of steam. I like that the unit doesn’t get too hot. Overall operation of the machine is super easy to use. I would highly recommend this set

If the hood were larger to accommodate larger heads of natural hair this would be ideal. Only the very top of my head received steam making this not worth the effort and time.
