Pure Lorde
A stunning debut album, a new voice for a generation, Bowie raved about her calling her ‘the future of music’ Pressure? Possibly, it took four years before the follow-up to Heroine was released. A lot can happen in four years, the initial excitement about Lorde would have almost certainly start to fade, she had to come back with a bang, and with the track Green Light she blew all doubters out of the water. It was as if Lorde hadn’t been away, the first single and track on a very strong album that doesn’t reinvent Lorde but maintains her position as a fantastic artist and vocalist.

Best Album in a decade
This album is so mature for being Lorde's second album. It is a masterpiece in most aspects and should've won the Scammy's. Lorde's lyricism is once again brilliant with a plethora of metaphors and heartfelt songs. This album is easily on the same level as Pure heroine if not surpasses it and is criminally underrated. Melodrama is a must-listen for almost anyone, and especially people who would typically listen to Indie/alternative.

Amazing!
The artwork of this vinyl is utterly beautiful, I enjoyed every minute opening my record just to admire the beauty of every touch and quality put into it. Lorde’s music is amazing, and I loved listening to this record! Her songs are so catchy, and at the same time they are like art themselves!

Understated but great!
I really love this album. I love the lower register of voice, it really makes a change. At first I thought the lyrics were a bit weird but the more you listen the more you work them out and realise there is meaning behind them, the album in my opinion is quite understatedly clever.
