A modern Classic
This is a great whisky, just really well balanced, floral honey heather notes, great mouthfeel, oily, a bit dirty - just an all round great whisky

Very drinkable
This was quite a surprise, this whiskey is quite sweet reminded me or a toffee or a Worthers Original :-)This is non chill filtered and un-coloured which is quite rare these days with the huge commercialism of Whiskey in general.Because of this un-filtering you end up with everything in the glass from the distillation process including the oils which would have been removed in the filtering adding to the overall flavour, too some this would be too harsh and cloying but for me it was a pleasant surprise and really quite enjoyable .The selling point of the BRUICHLADDICH is raw unrefined traditional whiskey made in the old way, they use a lot of their original victorian equipment. One thing the distillery point out on their website is there is NO consistency in any of their whiskey, whatever goes on the bottle this month might be completely different next time you get another bottle. Although bold in their statement it's maybe not a good idea when most distillers count their business on consistency and customers wanting it to taste the same every-time.The bottle is slightly overkill, it almost seems a shame to dump it its such a different style to the rest out there, they would probably save a fair bit going to a standard glass bottle with a label stuck on it.Give it a try even if its a one off

Highly recomend this whisky
Too good for occasional drinkers. Keep it for yourself.Give your friend the supermarket cheap stuff or any spelt Whiskey.Beautiful, single burn and so very tastey. My favourite.Don't water it down or mix it.

Go to whisky
Great deal especially at the price. Has a lovely salinity on the nose, like ocean spray but with a grassy meadow nearby. This whisky is lovely on the palate too, slight sweetness but also a light quality as well as hints of spice. When on offer, this whisky offers much better vfm than most of your supermarket whiskies. Get this over most £25-35 scotch’s and you won’t be disappointed.

Beautifully made, great value for money
This is one of my ‘go to’ whiskies, obviously made with care and consistently excellent. For the money and, as it’s presented at 50% ABV, it’s superb value.

Distinctive taste - so Worth trying as a 5ml sample or at the pub before investing in a 70cl bottle
Quite expensive but a quality whisky, with it being 50% it does benefit from a dash of water to bring out the individual qualities of the brand.
